  • Outstanding Car - 2004 Cadillac Deville

I bought this used, had 36,000 miles on it. First one Ive owned. I am totally in love with this car. Very comfortable, excellent ride. Ive had Audis and a couple of Lexus but I must say this car feels better and a lot more solid.

  • Pretty to Look at, but in the shop often - 1991 Cadillac Deville
    By -

I bought this car used 90K miles after owning two other Caddys as used cars before. The check engine light came on periodically and I had some stalling after a month. The cause of the check engine light was dismissed after multiple diagnostic tests as just "needing a tune up". After a year I replaced the fuel pump, a/c compressor, water pump, starter and had some sort of what seemed like a fuel line problem that no one could find. The Caddy dealer could not find the problem in two hours despite the check engine light. Suspension was like an old taxi after two years. I wouldnt buy another Caddy used.

  • Rich mans pride-poor mans secret! - 1991 Cadillac Deville

What a way to appreciate Cadillac ride than to get out of a Corvette and into one! When my father offered to buy me a car after the passing of my mother and the theft of my $30,000 Stingray, the choice was a no-brainer. Sure, I looked at a couple of LSCs and 1979 Trans Ams (whoops.). Common sense took over and I went with what I knew-we already owned a 92 DeVille and a 91 Seville, both excellent cars. After picking my dark blue 91 and putting new Bosch injectors, new struts, steering rack, Michelins, and tuneup on it, it is still the car Id dreamed of-BIG but 20.7 AVERAGE mpg, total luxury including FAST, classic Caddy beauty and an incredible ride. 155,00 mi no problems. Great engineering!!!

  • 400,000 miles and beyond! - 1991 Cadillac Deville
    By -

This is my third Cadillac sedan deville. These cars are amazing.I have 160,000 miles on the one I own now and Its keeps on truckin". The ride quality is incredible. We take it one all own long trips. I store it in the winter and drive another car through the snow. Its black with dove grey interior. I had to replace a few things when I purchased it. Starter, Plugs belts and hoses. Other that that. Its runs very well. Its is the most comfortable car that I have ever owned. 90 to 93 body styling was classic. And the 454 under the hood doesnt hurt. This car has power!! Parts are still available.I recommend any one to buy one if they see one on the lot. you wont be sorry.

  • Never Again - 1999 Cadillac Deville
    By -

Bought this car in May of 2007 with 53,000 miles on it, and it has been trouble ever since. First power window motors went out. Second crank seal caused oil leak (At 62,000 miles). During repairs mechanic forgot to put a latch on the right front passenger wheel causing me to lose a wheel (Thankfully) in a garage. Dealership would not refund me the money of the repairs even though they were dangerously done. Now the car is in the shop due to two blown head gaskets. Cadillac Customer Service department is not willing to help out with anything.

  • First Caddy... but not last! - 2004 Cadillac Deville
    By -

At forty-one, Im probably younger than the average Deville owner. But with four children and a wife, I needed a vehicle that seated six. Few choices exist outside an SUV or minivan. I recently purchased a used 04 w/ 57k. In the short time Ive owned it, Ive found it to be comfortable, fun to drive and surprisingly economical. I average 29 mpg highway (around 18 city). The NorthStar V8 & trans are smooth and quite. While Im not sure I would have paid $40k + for this car four years ago, the poor re-sale value puts it in a class by itself for a used car! I will own other Cadillacs in the future. Im also fond of the 08 CTS & DTS. However, the new STS styling needs to be bolder.

  • Great Vehicle, but have cash - 2000 Cadillac Deville
    By -

I bought this DTS in 2003 with 114,000 miles from a dealer in MI. The exterior and interior were spotless. They still are other than the drivers seat leather due to my daily driving. All I had to do was test drive a DeVille to know what my dream car was. The car drives solid, accelerates smoothly, and always runs strong from acceleration to passing speeds. I love this car, yet it does have serious maintenance issues. When parts fail, shop around for labor, but expect to spend major dollars on parts. Northstar does burn 1qt oil / 2k mi or so, but is very tolerable as this doesnt seem to have major effects.

  • 1991 Cadillac. Best Car Ever - 1991 Cadillac Deville
    By -

This is my second Deville I had a 1992 prior. These vehicles were way ahead for there time. This is the best running car that I have ever owned. I only drive it in the summer times and on vacations. Its a very comfortable car and has so much power. I had to do some maintainence when I first bought it as most people do when they buy used, brake lines, struts, motor mounts, new points and plugs. It runs really well now. I love the dated body styling. very smooth. I tore the engine apart and put it back together and cleaned it up. I get 20mpg! On a car this old you need to put fuel injection cleaners in the tank every fill up. It is a great running car.Ill have it for ever!

  • Caddy Deville......Last of the Boats - 2001 Cadillac Deville
    By -

The Cadillac Deville is fast becoming one of the last boat Caddy cars ever being made. The new ones have all the bells and whistles but they no longer have that long slick boat length look to them like the old Cadillacs have and thats a shame. I love this car and I just purchased it with over 114,000 miles on the odmeter!

  • It Is What It Is - 1990 Cadillac Deville

Perfect. Drives great and does not want you to turn off the key. This car is so smooth and user friendly that you just dont want to ever stop driving. I have no plans for selling this 1990 Caddy. The four door and space available can not be traded for anything.
