  • Not worth it! - 1995 Cadillac Deville
    By -

This 95 was a pretty lady that turned on me! This car is horrible. I bought car with 95,000 miles, drove it for about 2,000 miles, and ever since its spent more time in the shop than on the road. The reliability is on par with a 1970s snowmobile. I spent $600 replacing transmission solenoids, $300 on a starter, fixed a broken engine mount, a rusted metal coolant line, and now my mechanic cant get the Service Ride Control message to go away, leaving me stuck with a car thats worth $1,000 or putting another $1,000 into modifying the air suspension. Its just a bad choice thats led to a terrible experience. I wouldnt do it again!

  • Not sure what Cadillac is anymore... - 2002 Cadillac Deville
    By -

I think that the devilles are good sized cars that eliminating any cramped feelings that most other cars can have. This is a definite upgrade from chevy division products, and I am sad to see the company changing its product line up into unfamiliar territory. Being a 2002 deville I have made and paid for some repairs which isnt fun, but eventually any 10+ year old car is going to need some work done to it. I am still a little confused to what Cadillac thinks that they are competing with at the same price points of everyone else. I think that the build quality of cadillacs should be the standard for all GM products instead of them continuously pumping out tin can crap to consumers.

  • 14 years old and still going strong - 2000 Cadillac Deville
    By -

I have owned a 2000 Cadillac DeVille DHS for about 5 years. When a favorite relative passed it on to me, it was almost 9 years old and had sat unused in a garage for at least 2 years with just 22,000 miles on it. Professional mechanics told me I would likely have all kinds of very expensive problems with it and offered to take it off my hands and pay me $2000. GM was in trouble at the time but I decided to keep the car and take the risk. With the exception of replacing the battery, tires and overhauling the brakes - they were wrong about every other dire prediction. In 5 years, Ive spent about $5000 in repairs and maintenance on the car. Its been worth every dollar.

  • 1996 Deville Issues - 1996 Cadillac Deville

Inherited this vehicle from my in-laws and have spent the last few months getting in working order. Oil leaks that are cost-prohibitive to repair along with occasional over-heating (despite flushing of cooling system). Also, only about 10-12 MPG in city despite several fuel system treatments. Finally, electronic fuel display that jumps up and down several gallons within minutes.

  • Fantastic car for the price - 2004 Cadillac Deville
    By -

This is my 2nd Cadillac and I gotta tell you its been a fantastic car so far. Paid $5k for an 04 with 106k miles. Talk about a steal. Car has a wonderful, smooth ride and bumps no longer exist. Plenty of room for friends or to just stretch out. Northstar V8 has plenty of power and gets decent fuel economy on the highway. Stereo is great and has plenty of power. Tons of rear seat and trunk space as well... Wow! Styling is conservative yet clean and elegant. Love the LED taillights. Handling... well there isnt so much of that LOL. Its not a Town Car but you can certainly tell you are driving big car. Really enjoying this car so far.

  • Very Reliable Car - 1992 Cadillac Deville
    By -

This Sedan Deville has been nothing but good to me. I have taken it on multiple 2 to 3 trips and is my daily driver. It has had almost everything replaced on it but you have to realize that this car is 20 years old. With that being said, the car drives smooth with no real engine problems other than consumption of coolant, which is to be expected with older cars. Gas mileage is right around 16 in the city and 19 on the highway! Would recommend this car if in great to good condition!

  • Of the Town. - 2004 Cadillac Deville
    By -

DeVille, literally translated from French to English means "of the town". All I want to do is drive this around town. Ventilated Cooled Front seats, heated seats, heated steering wheel, XM Radio, OnStar, integrated turn signals in the side mirrors, hands-free calling, And parking sensors just to name a few of my favorite features. I am a 20 year old male and I love LOVE driving this beautiful machine. I am proud to say "Thats my Cadillac" My second DeVille and I will buy another Cadillac soon, after all, Cadillac is the new standard of the World, Right?

  • Supernatural - 1993 Cadillac Deville

When people ask how this car has treated me, I tell them that this car is special it can do anything. Super comfortable inside, exceptional under the hood, beautiful on the outside. It has so much power, and being so low to the ground makes it seem like a sports car. In terms of reliability, this car is a great example of American quality. I bought it with 97K miles on it and put 15K the first year with no problems. Only one repair ever (water pump pulley), which apparently was done incorrectly the first time. The mileage isnt great, but can vary widely. I got up to 35 mpg on a trip to Vegas. I intend to drive this car until theres no more miles it can handle. I absolutely love this car.

  • 1999 Cadillac DElegance - 1999 Cadillac Deville
    By -

Bought in 2011 with 92k miles, had to have new front struts put on by dealer. Now at 120k miles, I have had to put new radiator fans, new radiator as fans ruined the radiator, torque converter, TPS sensor, a blower motor which took a week to get a 5 bolt since most are 3 bolt and just recently a water pump. All are expensive to fix. Good running car, but like everyone says, they can be expensive to fix. If you buy one used, make sure you like the car and have some money set aside to fix them. Watch your selling price, weak resale value for a Cadillac. Heated seats dont work. Had to convert rear suspension

  • 1996 base - Great car - 1996 Cadillac Deville
    By -

Great car, creme color, which is interesting, depending on lighting situation can appear white with tinge of pink, egg-shell, or light tan. Beautiful car, although the front end could have been a little designed more distinctive, kind of reminds me of a chevy with a cadillac emblem. lol. Runs great, good acceleration and breaking, I like cluster guages, right in front of your eyes, no looking all over dash for emergency lignts, wonderful seating, posh Theres just something about a cadillac, its hard to verbalize, but you know when you are in one, that special feeling you get, especially with these older models. Very easy to drive and park. Maintence is expensive.
