Junk - 1997 Cadillac Deville
By scharfenberg - September 1 - 3:21 amI would never by a Cadillac again. Ive replaced the motor due to head bolts stripped out of motor. They make an 800 dollar kit to fix the problem but it did not work due to already being done the wrong way. If I were you stay away from 96 to 2000 or you will have a bill of 3500 dollars like i did. If youre thinking about buying one I have this to say to you. Its the biggest pile of junk there is and if I were gm i would be ashamed of putting my name on it.

By getts45 - August 20 - 11:02 pmWow! What a wonderful driving machine! Very powerful and very comfortable. Great fuel economy and mostly everything is great about the car. not any problems since our family bought it back in 2000 except normal services. Highly recommend this car.

My baby - 2000 Cadillac Deville
By freshpeach - August 18 - 4:57 pmI love the way this baby drives and rides. I love the get up and go before anyone knows it I am way ahead of the slow revs in the so- called economy 4 and 6 cylinders!! She is very quiet in her coming and going and I can control everything from the steering wheel!! I dont care about the gas mileage she is the most comfortable and convenient car for someone like me, with a handicapped knee and right hand. Traveling on long trips in this car is like laying down in your bedroom and watching your favorite television marathon. Needed maintenance is not so cheap, but she is worth her weight in gold!!

Build quality - 2001 Cadillac Deville
By JJ - August 16 - 11:50 pmI purchased this vehicle with 51,000 miles. It is a beautiful fun to drive car. However, this car has many repair problems, i.e., oil leaks, steering problems, I have had many sensors replaced, both front hubs, both cv joints, water pump,a/c compressor and too many other repairs to mentions. I feel a vehicle with only 90000 miles should not have had that many repairs. I have a 93 Honda Accord with 220,000 miles and I can count the repairs I have made on it.

Cadillac Deville 2003 unreal value - 2003 Cadillac Deville
By 2003 DEVILLE CAD - August 3 - 6:50 pmThe five year old 2003 deville Cadillac I purchased has been a headache and wallet drain ache. It has been many times to dealership for this or that repairs under warranty or I am paying the bill. Then the dealership damages it and wont repair unless I pay. The gm parts are expensive ($7.00 plastic retainer) and you wait for them to order them. The noise caused by the self leveling system is aggravating to hear. The car is so big and bulky that you can not maneuver it easily. The power steering is soft however. Yet that steering had to be repaired also to be soft and noiseless. The quality and workmanship is not worth the money you spend to buy. Next car I purchase will be a new one and not gm.

Solid Deville - 2004 Cadillac Deville
By Pauljvl - August 1 - 4:55 amTo all the comments I read this Cadillac is quite very comfortable and just replacing the stock tires with the Best tire for this car and I tried a few the New Toyo Versado this ride is superb handles respectable and now very quiet ride. The engine has very good go with 300 lbs or torque it can move quite well. the air conditioned seats are fantastic no more sweat on a long ride. and the fuel economy is a very good 18- 28 on the highway, to get all this for $20k in a used car as a certified low mile Caddy and bumper to bumper warranty with 0 co pay for 100k miles this is excellent piece of mind.from a highly rated automobile.

good deal! - 1994 Cadillac Deville
By don - July 31 - 3:03 pmBought this 94 when i returned from Kuwait. Had sold a 93 Fleetwood Id had the yr before deploying. 94 gets better MPG city and hwy and is a better ride. All options worked and have continued too. Have over 140k miles on it with only base repairs based on mileage. Driven RT across country will NO problems. The only "strange" thing is the engine backfires and gets sluggish for no apparent reason and with no regularity. No the FI, or plugs/wires. Once it starts cannot accelerate. I pull over and cut the engine, re-start and no more problems, until its next time to do it.

Never Again - 2004 Cadillac Deville
By Grumpa - July 29 - 1:57 pmI have owned several Cadillacs but this 04 has had so many mechanical problems and I only have 26K on it. PS/pump, seat heater, all rotors, LF,RF spindle assem, lic.plate light, 2 window motors, premature tire wear, confusing radio controls, mushy ride. Last GM product for me.

97 DeVille - 1997 Cadillac Deville
By Richard Peck - July 26 - 4:48 pmSo far this has been a wonderful car. The fit & finish is very good. Its a fun to drive car. The ride is very good for a 11 year old luxury car. About the only option this car lacks, is a moonroof. Everything on this car works. Ive heard a lot of bad things about the Northstar engine. I find it an excellent powertrain. If you keep it from getting overheated, it should last almost forever.

Shake Rattle & Roll - 2002 Cadillac Deville
By Burgundy & Gold - July 22 - 3:39 pmThis has been one of the worst car experiences I have ever had. I love the way the car looks, but I cannot stand it when the accelerator begins to shake when I drive over 60 mph. It also shakes when I apply the brakes even though I have changed the brakes, rotors, tie rod ends, and numerous other things. Not to mention I have to take it to the dealership at least 3 or 4 times a year! It sucks! My next car will not be a Cadi. Too much work.
