AVOID Cadillac products like the plague - 1992 Cadillac Deville
By 6dutchman6 - March 1 - 3:16 pmPROS: Yah right CONS: 1. Stupid computer controlled climate control system that never kicks in right away while your freezing your butt off in minus degree weather. 2. Faulty parts abound, this thing literally falls apart and leaves on the side of the road stranded, one time on a -36 C night. 3. Unreliable, its seen more miles behind a tow truck. 4. Only Cadillac can make a car that breaks while washing it. FAULTY seals let water into manifold $170.0 repair.

caddys are not for rookies - 2002 Cadillac Deville
By caddy daddy - February 9 - 11:25 pmthis is my third cadillac and from my expierence, its all a roll of the dice! some are built to last with minimal repairs, and others will make you pull your hair out! routine maintenance plays a critical role of the life of your caddy, used caddys should be bought will eligible extended warranty, if buying used check gm inquiry report and that should tell you alot about your caddys reliablity. the car overall is great, i guess for me the third times a charm, ive paid my dues to cadillac, do your research, inspect your caddy daily, and keep up with routine maintenance.

American Dream - 2005 Cadillac Deville
By merlincat - January 21 - 6:08 pmBought out of an estate sale with only 24k on it. Virtually new 4 year old car. Its every thing a Caddy should be. Heavy, big, roomy, plush, and you can get 4 bodies in the trunk. It gives you that aaahhhh feeling at 80 floating down the interstate. She gets almost 29 mi/gal on cruise at 80 and thats in the Rockies at 7000 ft! So sad the big Caddys are going away for BMW size posers. I imagine they are fine cars but the American dream sled will be another thing we Americans did really well and quit. Got caught in a Colorado blizzard and the heavy 350 sitting over the front wheel drive made her move like an Abrahms tank through the snow. Amazing. If you can find a clean one, buy it!

Fantastic Car - 2000 Cadillac Deville
By George - January 18 - 1:09 pmLove to drive this car great handling and comfort. But had problems with head gaskets had to replace them and oil leak. It does burn oil. Would love to have a newer model without head gasket problems and oil use.

90 Cadillac Deville beast! - 1990 Cadillac Deville
By VINNIE - January 13 - 5:47 pmThe 1990 Cadillac Deville is one of the best American cars in history! I just got this car from my grandparents with a little over 153,000 miles. Even with the high amount of miles it runs great. I pretty sure the water pump has gone out though. The car will rocket to speed very eaisily. It gets about the same gas miliage as my brothers 1994 Chrysler LHS ant it only has a 3.5 litre V6. Overall the 1990 Cadillac DeVille is a great and reliable car.

Another GM Turkey - 1993 Cadillac Deville
By Bigguy - January 8 - 3:07 pmWell, its sitting in the driveway waiting for a recycle dealer to pick it up. The tranny went out for a second time and I aint gonna put any more money into it. The car has 85k miles, the tranny went out at 60K. Shop says these 90s model V8 FWDs are prone to tearing the tranny up, poor design by GM. Another problem has been the battery- it seems all the fancy electronics, especially the "Load leveling system" drain the battery and cause premature failure there too.

Value for Money spent. - 2004 Cadillac Deville
By R - January 6 - 12:25 pmI drive a classic muscle car (66 Charger)for fun and I use a daily driver the rest of the time. I picked up my Deville with 32k on the clock for $11,800. Dark Blue with the chrome wheels. This car is fully loaded and clean. It has all the toys except the sunroof and Nav system. This is a great car in all areas. The northstar is a terrific engine. For a large car it handles well. I love all the gadgets it has. Heated and cooled seats. And the heated steering wheel, which I thought was a silly idea until it got cold and I started using it. I dont think I would have paid $45k new for this car. But for the price of a used ex rental fleet Malibu? Gotta have it.

Very Impressive Ride! - 2003 Cadillac Deville
By Ron Ferrara - January 2 - 7:48 pmI have never been a fan of Cadillac until they came out with this body style. I was shocked when I noticed 25mpg on the hwy. This car looks fantastic, and it handles very well. Id buy another if the money was right, and if I had the money. Plenty of get up with this ride!

Love the Luxury and outstanding Economy - 1998 Cadillac Deville
By Jackie OBrien - January 2 - 12:05 amI bought this car after wrecking my Infinity after an ice storm and have not regreted it one bit. The ride is very smooth seats are comfortable, everything is at finger tips for easy adjustment. This car gets fantastic fuel usage: 18-21 mpg in town and 26- 28 mpg on the highway driving the speed limit. During the time I have owned the car, I have spent less than $3500 for maintenance plus the regular 3000 mile check up & oil change, etc., and new tires. The body is still beautiful and shinny.

Deville not bad - 1999 Cadillac Deville
By JDW - December 23 - 2:47 pmOwned since new, mostly normal maintanence, brakes, tires, tuneup. Little warranty issues since new. Expensive dealer repairs were fuel pump at 135K and Air suspension compressor at 115K. Uses a quart of oil every 200-600 miles, more so as it got older.
