By Lil Bobby - February 22 - 2:00 amI bought this car to last a year. When purchased, she had about 188,000 miles and needed a little work. She needed need brakes, calipers, the whole bit. Next, were the wheel hub assembly. I hope to keep this car for a while. It runs great. I will hope to clean up the interior with new seats, ceiling frabric, and transmission overall and fix oil leakages.

By Robson - December 24 - 2:00 amI bought it with 90K miles and I added now over 105K WITHOUT SINGLE PROBLEM! Never broke, never failed, not even oil leaks, just perfect reliable car. Its sad that the newer cars is the worse are they. 92 skylark is just the best.

Ben a really good running car.Have around 66000 miles on it now.Had some electrical problems in it 3 years ago.Gas milage is a big plus for this veichle. no rust at all on it yet of course I keep it waxed..Ill drive it till it dies on me..

My 97 Skylark - 1997 Buick Skylark
By Luv My Buick - September 22 - 2:00 amI bought my car used in Oct 1997 with 12000 miles on it. Beside regular maintance and replacing the water pump at 50000 miles, my Buick has been trouble free. It now has 150,000 miles. Its a great car!

Good Mid-sized Car - 1996 Buick Skylark

Love My Buick - 1995 Buick Skylark
By Hip321 - September 4 - 2:00 amIm not your typical Buick owner, I bought my 1st Skylark when I was 24, I am now 31. I cant say enough about how I love my Buick. It is safe, reliable and I enjoy driving it. Yes, I too have repaired & replaced my fair share of things, but with over 107k miles on it, thats to be expected. The worst repair I had to make was replacing the transmission at 90k miles. This is my 2nd Skylark, I lost my 1st in 97 in a nasty accident (rear-ended at a stoplight by a 12-ton truck). Since I walked away from that, I was determined to find myself another one.

Best Car I Ever Had - 1996 Buick Skylark
By foxhunter - August 16 - 2:00 amI bought this car new in June of 96 for my wife, who gave up driving shortly thereafter. I took it over, and its been the best car Ive ever owned. It handles very well, has had minimal maintainence and still looks good.
