  • Good car - 1995 Buick Skylark

It has worked well for us for the last 5 years. No complaints. Nothing ever really broke besides the standard items like brakes and battery.

  • Champion Underdog - 1996 Buick Skylark

Really awesome for a first car. With the V6, outperforms most other cars Ive driven. Stomp on the gas in optimal gear-drop ranges (25-30 for 1st and 60-65 for 2nd) and you feel like youre about to launch. Elegant design, love the color (green). Joy to drive, feels 100% stable even at 90+. Seems like a car people love to hate though. Has needed some expensive repairs.

  • Great 1st Car-10th Anniversary - 1993 Buick Skylark
    By -

A GREAT 1st/RELIABLE CAR Quite a spacious interior-has made moving in and out of apartments much much easier. It also HANDLES WELL & drives smoothly especially considering its coming up on its 10th Anniversary. The WEIGHT & SIZE of the vehicle are a (+). These are the reasons why we 1st chose the Skylark. Along with good power needed for strong winters-the car is sizeable enough to protect inexperienced 1st drivers-like me. She starts with no problem-and still gets me where I need to go with ease. If you have the chance to pick up a 92- 96 Skylark they appear to me to be running for great values.

  • 1994 Buick Skylark Price - 1994 Buick Skylark

This vehicle has almost 100,000 miles. It had a previous owner. I have owned the car for 21/2 yrs and put about 40,000 miles on it. I have had the oil changed and the tires rotated every 3 months or 3,000 miles.

  • Pretty good - 1998 Buick Skylark
    By -

First the bad stuff. My Skylark has needed new brakes, a new fuel pump and a new fuel injector so far. I have driven it from 29K miles up to 72K. The carpet under the drivers left foot is disintegrating. Now the good stuff. This car gets pretty good mileage. I can usually go 400 highway miles before adding another 13.5 to 14 gallons to the tank. The V6 is decently zippy. The governor stops at 104, but the engine hasnt even started to get loud at that point and control is still very good. Unlike some cars, you could drive this one at 95+ for hours without trouble.

  • 1990 Skylark w/ Noisy 2.5L Tech4 Engine - 1990 Buick Skylark
    By -

This little car is a great A-to-B car or family car. The Tech 4 2.5l 4- cylinder is really noisy, but will run forever. I made the mistake of thinking it was valves tapping or an engine knock. But the two different machincs I took it to both said similar remarks, "The engine has a plasic timing gear that makes a lot of noise, even brand new, but it is nothing to worry about. Just keep up on regular maintence and shell run forever." I have only heard of imports that reliable, not a Buick. But this car has shown me GM has and can make a reliable 4-cylinder car that last. At 129k miles itll prbably go another 200k.

  • so far so good - 1997 Buick Skylark

I had the car for a year now and its been great. No major problems with it besides regular maintenace. The breaks are good and the car it self looks good. It is a comfortable car.t has close to 100 000 miles.

  • Buick Skylark - 1998 Buick Skylark

This car is a great looking car. It handled nicely, but because of its wheelbase does not turn does as sharply as a small car. The gas mileage is about 25 miles to the gallon. Weve had the brakes repaired since we bought it used in May 1999 but thats about it. Its a great looking car.

  • My Baby Buick - 1997 Buick Skylark
    By -

This is a decent car. It hasnt given me many problems and it is a great road car. I have hade many upgrades to the car like wheels, suspension, stereo and etc. Once you replace these, the car is great! If you buy this car (1996-1998), prepare to spend about $2500 extra to make it right!!
