Love My Riviera - 1995 Buick Riviera
By Jerry Boswell - May 14 - 5:53 pmBasically I love to drive my Riviera with superb handling in year around Southern California weather. The interior is outstanding with all the needed controls on the steering wheel. On the down side, this is the only vehicle I have owned that can need repairs by just sitting in the garage. The mechanic bills have been frightning since I purchased it five years ago with apx 64,000 on it. I now have apx 95,000 on it and have put some $12,000 in it for repairs. Still love it!

Fun to drive, expensive to own! - 1995 Buick Riviera
By Paul - June 14 - 12:20 pmI bought my 1995 Riviera with 26,000 on it. It was pretty much trouble free until about 45,000 miles. Between 45,000 and 70,000 miles I spent about $5,000 on repairs. I really love the styling of this car, its fast, ride is great, and I got 25-27 mpg on the highway. If you really want one, be prepared to spend a lot of money with your mechanic. Youll also need to be meticulous about scheduled maintenance. I sold mine in July of 2003. Fortunately if youre in the market for one, theyre very reasonably priced.

I Love this Pain - 1995 Buick Riviera
By RM - July 11 - 4:00 pmI just stumbled upon this beauty in a Dodge Dealers used car lot, and got a great deal because I guess nobody wanted a big car. Lucky me! This car is my favorite ever. Power, handling, fun, and a real head turner. Its not like all the other cars that all look the same. Ive been asked countless times to sell it, but I wont. Shes got 140K now, and drives like the day I bought it. The engine is great. one warning, fun costs money! The car is expensive. Since its 10 years old, things are starting to break, but Ill just get it fixed and keep driving.

FUN TO DRIVE - 1995 Buick Riviera
By Blondie53185 - October 1 - 2:00 amI personally never really thought the exterior design of this car was too great. Other people just love it and I get many compliments on it. Regardless of my feelings of the exterior, I love this car. It is very fun to drive. Accellerating around corners is the best! Goes great in snow and handles well on icy Wisconsin roads.

Great car except... - 1995 Buick Riviera
By Burak - December 17 - 2:00 amI bought my car at 80k.I have some problems with cruise control, rear window defogger switch and a coolant leakage. These can happen. But parts of this car are expensive.I paid 300$ for the rear fogger switch.Every repair starts from 100$ at the authorized service. But great interior design and outer design. I agree that interior design of Buick cars are bad but this one is exceptional. Gas mileage is poor, performance is fine, but could be better if the car is somewhat smaller. Reliability is same with any of the american cars I guess. If you want a more reliable car try honda or toyota but I cant find the design and fun to drive in them.

Blue River Review - 1995 Buick Riviera
By Blue River - November 26 - 2:00 amBought car in prestine condition with 42,000 miles from local Buick dealership. Glad I purchased extended warranty because a lot has been repaired. I now have chosen to take it for repairs at another local dealership because the purchase location is dishonest and further from my home. I like the car, however, it is enormous and uses a lot of fuel.
