A luxurious Ultra model has been added to the lineup that features an all-new V6, a monochrome exterior and heavy doses of wood and leather trim inside. A DVD-based navigation system is now on the options list for the CXL and the Ultra, and XM Satellite Radio is now available on all models. GM's head-up display is now available on the CXL as a stand-alone option.

• Usable third-row seats that fold flat, comfortable ride, plenty of interior storage, lots of options available.

• Weak engine on standard models, good-looking but cheap-feeling interior materials, options push price up quickly, no off-road ability.

  Great all around vehicle. Fun for outdoor activities and cleans up nicely for an evening out. I think that the Ultras upgraded exterior package really dresses up the vehicle. Very comfortable ride on road trips. I dont see very many Ultras. Any idea how many were actually manufactured?

  Nice vehicle. Good alternative to either regular SUV or minivan, however, having owned two minivans previously, I miss the extra room behind the 3rd seat. My Rendezvous has 3 seats, but hardly any storage room behind the 3rd one.

  I love this SUV! Decent mileage, easy entry/exit. Lots of space, I even haul my horse feed in it!I bought it with about 14,000 miles on it, got a great deal.

  I bought a pre-owned 2004 Rendezvous in October 2006 which was in impeccable condition. You would have thought it was brand new. This is a fully loaded CXL with almost every upgrade. I love everything about this vehicle except its inability to soak up "rougher" pavement. It is very stiff over just the slightest of bumps. I dont understand because when I read all the reviews, they claim otherwise. Such a sacrifice (stiffer ride) would imply a more sporty agility which just isnt the case. Thats my only complaint. If you can get past that, you will love this vehicle.

  This car is so reliable, comfortable, no back strain, and so easy to load with the hatchback at waist level. Large storage compartment, and comfortable seats for passengers. Added phones in passenger seats for comfort in listening to music. Great visibility in the front windshield, in fact that is why I purchased this car. The vista is great when traveling to beautiful places, panoramic view. My whole family loves this car, and I am a 76 year old grandmother, and everyone wishes they owned this car. I wish I had bought the wine colored car, instead of the gun metal, which many people have. That would have been a little a fun color for me.

  Every month is a new problem. Power windows off track. Back hatch lock no good. Side view mirrors motor broke. Front end problems. Staling just started. Key start froze up. Battery died after 3 month of owning car. I used to love my Buick. Now, dont even ask!

  two older folks drove from baltimore to florida in 19 hours straight without a moments discomfort, or should i say in complete comfort.freat for older people getting in or out. when you get out, you dont have to "straighten out".

  When SUVs became so popular I thought I would enjoy one. My husband drives a Silverado Pickup and I like to drive it. We had a Cadilac for 2 years. I test drove a buick Rendevous and my husband and I agreed it was the vehicle we wanted. We could get in and out of it so much easier than the car and it is very comfortable and fun to drive! We are 76 years old and want another Rendevous when it is time to trade!

  I drive the intersates from Nebraska to Texas twice a year and back. I have had nothing but the best experience dirving the 2004 Rendezvous.

  My commute to work is 43 miles one and I find the Rendezvous provides a comfort and handling. I would recommend it to anyone!
