A luxurious Ultra model has been added to the lineup that features an all-new V6, a monochrome exterior and heavy doses of wood and leather trim inside. A DVD-based navigation system is now on the options list for the CXL and the Ultra, and XM Satellite Radio is now available on all models. GM's head-up display is now available on the CXL as a stand-alone option.
- Usable third-row seats that fold flat, comfortable ride, plenty of interior storage, lots of options available.
- Weak engine on standard models, good-looking but cheap-feeling interior materials, options push price up quickly, no off-road ability.

I would like as the owner not leaser of 3 new trucks in the last 10 years to give more honest reviews, not just their opinion. most reviewer prefer honda or toyota to anything. I can tell you this is an excellent vehicle. it is not perfect but neither is rx330 or mdx.

By JIll - March 20 - 10:15 amI have this SUV almost 3 yrs. I love it. The nav screen is incredible and our trips are much more comfortable. I get tons of compliments on the drive and looks int and ext. It may not be as zippy as others but this SUV has everything else. The movable 2nd and 3rd row make getting in and out easy and the seats are comfortable and well made. I have not had any problems with it and am sorry I did not buy outright but leased. I will be trying to by out the lease since this SUV has everything we need as a family of 6.

By jzbwh - February 1 - 2:00 amI thought I got "hooked" with GM before I purchased 2004 Rendezvous CXL because I had accumulated some GM Credit Card points - all "expert reviews" at Blue Book and Edmunds appeared to favor Japanese cars over GMs. However as a commuter between home and work with little off-road requirements, Ive found driving Rendezvous quite pleasant. I love its smooth ride, excellent gas mileage (I got 21 mpg with avearge of 38 mph), the commanding view and the On-Star system. AWD just starts giving me peace of mind when climbing hills on snowy days. Yeh, you may argue that other SUVs or Crossovers can do the same tricks but its nice that my Rendesvous does them all!

By Rendezvous - December 18 - 2:29 amI was very pleased with the handling and interior quietness of my Rendezvous. I was also very pleased with the gas mileage. I recently drove to Atlanta Georgia from Ohio and averaged 28 miles to a gallon.

By rink - November 10 - 7:58 pmThe vehicle is roomy & very comfortable. It has been almost trouble free. Averaging 18.5 mpg in mixed driving. XM & OnStar are great. OnStar is only $10 per mo. with Verizon Family plan. AWD is great in MN snow. I would recommend as a relatively roomy SUV with good mileage & performance.
