A luxurious Ultra model has been added to the lineup that features an all-new V6, a monochrome exterior and heavy doses of wood and leather trim inside. A DVD-based navigation system is now on the options list for the CXL and the Ultra, and XM Satellite Radio is now available on all models. GM's head-up display is now available on the CXL as a stand-alone option.
- Usable third-row seats that fold flat, comfortable ride, plenty of interior storage, lots of options available.
- Weak engine on standard models, good-looking but cheap-feeling interior materials, options push price up quickly, no off-road ability.

Love my new car - 2004 Buick Rendezvous
By contract employee - August 19 - 2:00 amI am a first-time SUV owner and love my Rendezvous. I considered several cars and SUVs before selecting Buick, and I couldnt be happier. It is very comfortable, provides a very smooth ride, looks great and it is everything I hoped an SUV would be. I dont think Ill drive a car again. I highly recommend the Buick Rendezvous.

By longo - August 4 - 2:00 amIve owned this 2004 Rendezvous for 2 weeks now and Im extremely disappointed. As a matter of fact For a car with a sticker price of $38,400 the car is horrible. The ride is noisy & sounds like youre sitting in a hollow drum. The fuel gage fluctuates dramatically, leaving you unsure of how much gas you have.I guess you have to be on flat ground to tell for sure) The power steering pump was defective from day one and has yet to be fixed. Ive been told repeatedly that there is nothing wrong with the fuel gage. I would not recommend this car to anyone, its not worth the money

Nice Ride, but needs more power - 2004 Buick Rendezvous
By wiseone - July 18 - 2:00 amThe car provides a very smooth ride, but needs more power, especially during initial acceleration when trying to merge into traffic thats moving faster (like freeway entrance ramps). Would prefer if the rear captains chairs didnt have a headrest as the headrest on the right passenger side entirely obstructs the drivers view and creates a dangerous blindspot. Was also disappointed in the fuel economy. The Rendezvous gets worse gas mileage than my Chevy Silverado V8. For the money, though, you get a lot of bells and whistles.

By PaSteve - July 11 - 2:00 amOverall, we are very happy with the RDZ with the bigger engine (it is not an Ultra)providing strong acceleration and good gas mileage. Storage areas and interior space are excellent. Rear windows roll almost all the way down. Only problem to date is a gas gauge (this is a problem on some of the 2004 model, not earlier years). Viewing while backing up is very difficult due to back pillar design and obstruction. Handling could be tighter, but is good compared to minivans and truck-based SUVs. Leather interior is ok, but not upscale.

BODY LOTSA ROOM AND WHILE HAVING THE SMALL ENGINE IS NO SLOUCH. I CAN HONESTLY SAY IR REALLY LOVE IT AND HAVE RECOMMENDED IT TO ALL MY FRIENDS
