The Series II 3.8-liter V6 is standard on Limited and Gran Sport, optional on base Custom models. Standard equipment now includes dual ComforTemp climate controls and a cassette player. Revised wheels, available in chrome, are standard on the Gran Sport. Base V6 is upgraded, and both engines feature long-life engine components.

  Good Ride - 1996 Buick Regal

  Bought in 99 w 33000 now (05) have 78000+. In 4 years have replaced 1 alternator, the cruise crontrol module and 2 door seal gaskets and repaired the radio. Added a spoiler for looks. Interior quality lacks a bit.Does have dash rattle. A folded bit of paper between dash and glove box door solved that.Interior trim clips are starting to fail. Regal ride and power has me spoiled. Thought about replacing it but nothing else affordable seems to compare. Paint is holding up very well.

  Excellent Car For Anyone - 1996 Buick Regal

  This is a very good car. Great on gas for the size of the car. Does better than some small cars. Ive gotten up to 21 city and 32 highway. Have taken a few trips and it was very comfortable. I have not had a single problem with the car. I have 77,000 miles on it now. It was purchased with 70,000 on it from a friend who bought it from a dealer with 63,000 miles. The only thing he had to do is replace the battery. Stereo is great.

  Very Nice Car - 1996 Buick Regal

  It has good acceleration and handles very well in the city. I work for a Buick dealership so I have the chance to drive every Buick model from different years, I also have the chance to drive many other cars, domestic and imported, but the Regal is my favorite. I will probably buy a newer Regal in the future.

  Except for a super sport car The Buick Regal is one of the best cars to drive. It handles nicely on the highway or in the city. Very easy to park with excellent vision and Regals come with about all you want in extras so you dont have too much to add on.

  bought new. no major problems, routine and minor repair cost. still runs superb. plan on driving for another 100,000 miles

  I have always been apprehensive about owning a Buick because it seems like a car for an elderly person, with no pickup or style. But, in owning one, I can see why people like them. I havent experienced any major problems w/my vehicle except one. The tail light was getting condensation and shorted out my fuses!

  we bought it from a traveling salesman and love it, but the rear suspension squeaks a lot. a/c stopped working this summer, and so did the tape player. great gas mileage on trips over 30mpg.

  An outstanding vehicle. I purchased my Regal Gran Sport with 70,000 miles on it and have added almost another 40,000 in a yeat and a half. The 3800 engine is probably the finest engine made in this country. Very powerful and smooth. Great ride and handling with good brakes.
