Overview & Reviews
The Park Avenue's taillamps are now similar to those found on the upscale Ultra model. Also new this year is an enhanced eight-speaker audio system dubbed Concert Sound III, a new hood-to-fender seal for improved appearance, an adjustable rubber bumper for the deck lid and four new exterior colors.
- Big and comfy interior, strong V6 engine, attractive design, good value.
- Use of cost-cutting plastics inside, floaty ride, dizzying array of gizmos.

Great Car - 1999 Buick Park Avenue
By RayT - June 27 - 2:00 amJust bought my first Park Ave. in September 2002. Had three LeSabres prior to this. It has 57K miles but is in great condition with all the bells & whistles. This car has a good ride and corners great. It feels very solid on the road. Plenty of luxury features that help keep your eyes on the road such as the heads up display and the climate & radio controls on the wheels. Love the sunroof, chrome wheels & heated seats. Great car for the money and these Buicks are dependable & last.

Great Car for the money - 1999 Buick Park Avenue
By Bill T. - March 23 - 11:36 amThis is my third Park Avenue, and it is by far the best. It gets great gas mileage and handles well for its size. You do need premium fuel, however. Ive had few maintenance problems. I plan to trade the car for a new 2005 Park Avenue Ulrta because it has 77,400 miles on it, and GM is going to stop making the model. I love this car, and hope that the new one will be just as good and will serve me well for five years or more years as this Park Aveenue has done. Park Avenue Ultra is a great car, and Im sorry to see it go.

Too good to believe - 1999 Buick Park Avenue
By jack - November 17 - 6:43 amBought new and have been happy with this model from the gitgo! Acceleration, even today with 147,800 miles on er is truly amazing. Still get 30-31 mpg on hwy and 22 city at resonable speeds. Can burn all grades of fuel even though they specify premium for supercharge. If they wre still made, wed buy another even at the higher price of gas. If comfort is your desire this ride cant be beat either coss country (12 to 20 hrs. At a stretch) or stop and go city snarls. Style is still as good today as it was when first introduced. Too good to believe, ya, thats right, it is.

Best Ued Car - 1999 Buick Park Avenue
By Used Park Purchase - September 28 - 4:00 pmI commute 47 miles to work one way and have previously have had small or intermediated size autos. The PA gives me consitently 32 MPG on the highway and 28 overall mpg. The ride is fantastic and overall performance exceptional. If your looking to purchase a quality automobile look no further than a used Park Ave.

Luxurys best value - 1999 Buick Park Avenue
By 3rd Owner - September 16 - 9:10 pmThe electronics will go out on you and expect to pay a few hundred to fix (rear defrost, seat adjuster). As everyone says, 30+ mpg highway (I once averaged over 38 on a 150 mile trip!) but in the city its a dog, Ill get anywhere from 13-21 in the city. I think it looks great, and the sound system is amazing. Buy it if you want to be spoiled without burning a hole in your wallet.

Love at first drive!!! - 1999 Buick Park Avenue
By eril - June 30 - 12:43 pmIve had this car for a week now with 123,227 miles on it and im in love with it. The ride is better that most european cars ive had before. Im a sales man so i drive arround a lot and this car makes me enjoy the road more each time i drive it. Its very good on the gas too and fits all my family comfortably. All it needs is a good paint job and it will look like new!!!
