i only have 1300 miles behind me but can confirm that getting this car was the right decision. the ride and performance are outstanding, while setting up preferences w/ idrive was a breeze. went w/ 19 wheels which add a lot to the appearance. no complaints.

This is our third large BMW, th eprevious were 740iLs. This is a great car and a wonderful road car. We have had no problems with this car and are really enjoying it. The handling and ride are superb. The quality of the finish on the door sills needs some BMW attention.

  • Awsome Drive - 2002 BMW 7-Series

The drive is best of all the cars I have owned and I have owned MB, Infinity Q45 and Accura Legend. No other car on this planet can compare to the fun driving this car. After this car I dont want to drive my MB 420E as it is so primitivr to & series.

This is our 4th BMW. Unbelievable ride, you dont want to stop driving. Cant wait to take it on a long trip. I-Drive is easy. Be patient.

Likes and dislikes in order: It is good looking. It turns heads like you cant believe. It steers like it is on rails. The I-drive is easy if you give it a chance. It is just a learning curve you have to get through. It is safe and efficient. It is extremely cold natured. The I drive is great...if it hangs up here and there go get the latest software update. I dont like the seats..period. I would like to up shift manually.

I had a 740IL and went to the s class while waiting for the 745 series.(Kept it 6 months and sold it ) I am on my third one. The latest is the li. I have purchased the XKR, SC 430 as well. There are no words to describe the 745. It is by far the best auto I have ever owned. Once you learn the systems you will love them. What a ride!!!

Excellent auto. Best car that I have ever owned. I will buy the next in this line.

  • Even better... - 2002 BMW 7-Series

Love at first sight. Love it even more after a month. The ride, performance, features and look are just what I want. Only one complaint: the cell phone choice is bad. Ancient Motorola and no GSM carrier. No reason to not have universal adaptor and any carrier, phone or plan.

  • 2003 745i would do better minus computer - 2002 BMW 7-Series

great driving car poor on reliability. I had the car in the shop 4 times in first month to reprogram computer. for 70k this should not happen

I love the car. Its by far the most incredible hunk of stylish metal you can possibly drive. If youre old and boring, drive the S-Class... if you still like to have fun get this car. The car has many computer-related problems (thanks Microsoft) so if you have patience, buy the car!
