This Year's Model Updates:

Two new colors join the 2002 Audi TT palette, Brilliant White and Moro Blue. HomeLink is available as an option, and the navigation system gets an upgrade, as does the stereo. A blue top is available for the roadster, and the trunk gets an interior release. In the spring of 2002, Audi will appeal to collectors and offer the ALMS (American Le Mans Series) Commemorative Edition TT Coupe in a limited run of 1,000 cars. This special TT Coupe will come in two configurations -- a Misano Red exterior with a Silver Silk napa leather interior or an Avus Silver exterior with a Brilliant Red interior. Although the ALMS is essentially a more exquisitely trimmed version of the 225-hp coupe, Audi will fit it with 18-inch wheels and Z-rated 225/40 high-performance tires.

Pros:
  • Distinctive styling, cutting-edge interior, available all-wheel drive.
Cons:
  • Useless back seat in coupe, interior ergonomics take getting used to, lacks low-end grunt.

Although the trunk might be small, and the drink-holders hard to reach, this car is pure fun to drive. The sound of the 225s dual exhaust elicits chills, and the cars yummy lines summon one more look over the shoulder of even the most calloused driver.

I bought my TT Quattro 3 days ago. What fun! I love it.The only 2 problems I see with it is no center armrest and 1st gear rev limiter stops you at red line. I love the burst of acceleration at 3000 rpm.

After having owned this car for almost two years, I have to say that I am very satisfied with the purchse. Build quality is excellent, and this car ages beautifully. This car handles and performs well enough for anything I typically use it for, and there is also a surprisingly large trunk once the seats are folded down. While visibility isnt great, the small windows beneficially allow little sunlight in, making this car cooler than most if you park it outside all day.

What a great car. People underestimate the performance of the TT, but it is a performer. 225hp from a 1.8 liter thats just amazing. You also get world class interior and exterior that doesnt look like anything else.

Wanna find out if your significant other is the jealous type, then you have found the car to fall in love with! A pleasure to drive and a dream to own - turns heads everywhere, people cant help but talk to you about it. Minor parts quality issues arent a concern with exemplary dealer service/care. Interior is divine.

  • Better value than SLK - 2002 Audi TT

About a year and a half ago I wanted to buy a convertible. I went down to check out the 3-series convertible, and the salesman wouldnt even take me seriously because I was 26. Looked at an SLK, and similarly equipped was around $47000. Got mine for just under 40k, and I tell ya, it gets more looks then either of those cars. More looks than a Boxter even. Sure, the Boxter is a better street performer.. But everybody has a Z3 and a Boxter. It has more headroom than the SLK too. Its everything a stylish roadster sould be. I love it. Audi has found a life-time customer.

I was hesitant to even look at a TT because I needed at least a minimum cargo capability. When noticed the sizable amount of cargo space the TT Coupe has and my buying barrier disappeared. I have had the car to weeks and it is fantastic. It clearly designed as a work or art....smooth lines and 21st century construction. I would say that as many things of beauty it will take care to keep it that way. No door trim coupled with smooth sheet metal will make the slightest door ding very visible. Keep in mind its a small car. I am only 5-9 and I have to pull my head down to enter. But once inside its a beautiful and roomy feel.
