Overview & Reviews
Never considered hard-edged performance cars in their respective segments, the stylish 2003 Audi TT coupe and roadster finally offer an automatic transmission -- and a six-speed unit at that. Unfortunately, it's available only on the front-drive, 180-horsepower coupe and roadster. In other news, the quattro version of the 180-hp coupe is no longer offered and the remaining cars get a new front grille and revised exterior badging. Cast-alloy wheel designs have been updated, and, this year, you'll be able to get optional 17-inch all-season tires on all TTs (you could only get summer performance tires in this size previously); 18-inch all-season rubber is available on 225-hp models. Finally, the optional Bose sound system gets AudioPilot technology, which uses volume and tonal adjustments to compensate for outside noise.
- Distinctive styling, cutting-edge interiors, available all-wheel drive, superb optional Bose sound system.

TT after 3 months - 2003 Audi TT
By Banker John - November 9 - 2:00 amI purchased this car as a 25th wedding anniversary present for my wife. She typically doesnt get excited about cars, but really went crazy over the TT. Ive had various convertibles for over 17 years. I drove a Z4 and and a Boxster (tiptronic) for comparison. TT won out on styling, interior quality and what I would label as 80% driving - that stuff we all do during our daily trips around town. Z4 was a close competitor, but I just couldnt get used to the looks. Boxster (with tiptronic) was a dog to drive around town, and its interior was pretty spartan (read cheap looking) compared to the other two.

Much Fun, but with an annoying squeek. - 2003 Audi TT
By Laguna beagle - October 23 - 2:00 amI bought my 03 TT new. At about 2,000 miles it developed an annoying squeek emanating from somewhere in the right rear hatch area. I took it to the dealer who did some "insulation" work which helped for a short time, but then it came back. A week ago I hauled 4 bags of seed topper from Home Depot and the squeek went away for the most part. Im wondering if the problem could be related to the right rear strut mounting. Could a bushing be the culprit? Otherwise, the TT is a blast! The Quattro is fantastic in the wet when everyone else is lifting, the TT tracks along like its on rails. I give it a 9 overall.

Audi TT - 2003 Audi TT
By Mobilesonics - September 27 - 2:00 amA great car, and a blast to drive -- not much to complain about. Got the 225HP, and wouldnt mind just a little more power. But amazing performance for a 1.8 litre 4 .. and awesome fuel mileage for a true sports car. We get about 31MPG. Its my wifes car, and is perfect for her. Im 511" and its just barely big enough to be comfortable for me. If youre over 6, this probably isnt the car for you.

My Toy Roadster - 2003 Audi TT
By stkbrk - August 17 - 2:00 amPower plant is acceptable for this kind of vehicle. Performance is great... acceleration is superb, although scary. DMV threat me with revoking my license is I get another fine. It cruises at 80 mph with no effort. Style and design provokes in others curiosity and admiration. Its a simple fun to drive and owned german roadster. I will not have it any other way!

I love this car!! - 2003 Audi TT
By Scout - August 8 - 2:00 amI just picked up my car yesterday, I LOVE it. Im going to be 50 next year and I decided to trade in my 2002 Lexus ES 300 on something fun. Life is just too short! Im very picky when it comes to quality. I dont see anything about the TT I dont like. I decided on the automatic, simply because the traffic is so bad around here, I didnt want to do a lot of shifting. Audi even makes it fun to drive an automatic!

Dream Maker - 2003 Audi TT
By CherylB - August 6 - 2:00 amThe Audi TT (220 hp)is the car of my dreams. I believe the 180 is a waste of time.(Nice copy of the 220...but not even close to the REAL thing) They spared no expense in making it all luxury as well as being the ULTIMATE sports car. Audi knows how to pamper drivers by making the experience the most pleasure you can get with your clothes on!!! I love my car and will continue a relationship with Audi/Porche for my next purchase. Thats IF I EVER give up my TT!! Thank you Cheryl Bellows Nashua, NH

TT4ME - 2003 Audi TT
By NicholasB - August 5 - 2:00 amAlthough Ive only owned the TT for a little over a month, I am thoroughly pleased with every aspect of the car. The TT has plenty of power, excellent build quality, and, for a sports car, a comfortable ride. The four year old design still looks fresh and modern. It is a blast to drive!
