  Bought my Audi used with 32,000 miles on it. Ive driven it for a year and put 12,0000 miles on it and it drives and looks like a dream. Im complimented on it when people drive with me and have enjoyed every hour driven. I am planning on my next car to be an Audi

  My 2001 Audi A6 2.7T is my first Audi but it definitely is not my last. I love this car and everything about it. The inside display on the dash at night is by far the best of any European vehicle. My in-laws have a Mercedes-Benz and it doesnt even come close to this car.

  I last owned an A4 2.8q that was leased. I decided that I did not want to be restricted by mileage overages so we bought a CPO 2001 Audi A6 4.2. I think it is probably one of the best looking cars made and definetly the best looking Audi except for the RS6. It has a very aggressive look to it. It had the Sport package so the ride is firm but I like feeling connected to the road. It came with some pretty aggressive Yokohama 255/40/17s that are great in the dry roads but truly stink in the snow. The car could not get up a hill in our local area, so I had to back down the hill and start over. I guess the Quatro system is only as good as the tires. But for pete sake,these cost $200 a piece

  Amazing Car! - 2001 Audi A6

  This car does it all. The quattro system and twin turbo engine combine to provide an amazing level of everyday performance. Ours has been dead reliable, and the free scheduled maintenance is a great perk. Its even something of a bargain, compared to other cars in its class. We tried all the usual suspects (530i, E320 4Matic, GS430) and found that this one had an unbeatable combination of virtues with few drawbacks. We have enjoyed every mile, and I still look back at the car when I walk away - is that love, or what? ;-) Oh, and one more thing - the 2 people who suggested that this car is slow and soft obviously DIDNT drive a 2.7T. 0-60 in 6.6 is FAST in anybodys language....

  What a Car - 2001 Audi A6

  Ive had absolutely no complaints since purchasing my 2001 Audi A6 2.8 quattro Sedan a little over four months ago. The driving is superb for any weather, especially Chicagos cold and harsh winters. The leather seats fit me comfortably, and the Bose sound system blows me away. What a car!

  I picked up my 2001 Audi A6 4.2 at a used car dealership that takes in a lot of off lease Audis. My A6 has the sport package which I highly reccommend. I was afraid of buying this car after reading about the reliability issues on several sites but the dealer gave a nice bumper to bumper warranty. I do not regret my decision to buy this car! I love it.

  The Audi is indeed a sexy sleek beautiful machine but the maintenance is a nightmare. From the dash lights to the creeky noise of the steering wheel (that Audi still cant identify), water pumps and the wear and tear of the "aluminum" shifter plate. Id say that the maintenance money could be better spent. I came from a 1995 Lexus ES 300 with160,000 miles on it that still ran like a champ. My 2001 A6 has been to Audi twelve times now for warranty work. I have spent more time in the loaner car. Just my advice - you dont see many on the road for a reason..... Good luck.

  I loved my 2006 Audi A6 for a while, but problems seem to be non stop and very expensive. I needed a replacement rediator, had a misassembled dashboard, leaking transmission and differential, all 200 miles out of warranty, (dont count on any compassion from Audi). The AWD is fabulous, the interior is just beautiful, the fold down rear seats make it a mini-ute vehicle. It was the perfect choice for me, but I am done with Audi. My replacement car will be an AWD but from a company that stands behind its cars.

  The audi a6 4.2 is a great car in any weather and is extermly good for small road trips. The quattro actually pulls you through turns and the v8 is very responsive. I would definitly recommend the audi a6 4.2 to anyone.
