For a great combination of performance, handling (including snow) and luxury, nothing that BMW or Mercedes offers comes close for the price. This car has virtually every luxury (except for rear window shades and navigation system) it retailed for $44.5K & I purchased it for $42K Reliability had been excellent. After 3 years and 36K miles, the car still accelerates, handles, sounds and smells like new. The front powered & heated leather seats and the heated rear seats provide liveing room comfort for 4 and will accomodate 5 adults easily. Road handling and dependability were a joy, on dry, wet and snowy New England roads.

This car is a blast to drive. Whether your cruising in town or on the highway youll ride in comfort. The drivers seat is by far the most comfortable car seat Ive ever sat in. Havent had any issues, would recommend this car highly. If your concerned with the potential for maintenance costs buy an extended warranty or go buy a Toyota Camry.

Compared to all other vehicles in its class Audi beats each hands down. In addition to that the service from the dealer is world class. Who says you cant get great cars and great customer service anymore! The AWD alone puts this car on top. Add to that awesome performance, styling and reliability. Fantastic car!

Quattro in New England, what can I say. A descreet car with an interior nothing short of exception. Nothing close this side of a Rolls, trust me on this. Build quality is the best of the German Big Three (Merc, BMW and Audi). Ive owned jsut about everything but Audi in general always has me smiling.

Ive owned this car ~2.5 years now and I love it just same as I did the first day I got it! This car is just incredible. I smile whenever it rains and/or snows! I handles like a train on rails. I passed on a BMW 540i to get this car I had an older Mercedes before.

A fine vehicle in all respects, at a good value considering the contained technology.

I have owned Audis since 1990 and this one is the best so far. No question, at the time I bought it it was one of the best engineered cars on the road.

  • No more American cars - 2000 Audi A6

After the Audi experience, I would NEVER buy another american car. This A6 performs better in the snow and ice than my old 1995 Chevy Blazer 4WD.

  • An unbelievable machine! - 2000 Audi A6

I beat the heck out of my cars, and my Audi a6 2.7T is no exception. No car Ive owned has held up nearly as well as this one. Ive racked-up about 70K miles since April 2000. No problems, basides small electrical issues that were covered under warranty. Still drives like new and handles incredibly. Quattro is awesome in the snow and responds better than the SUVs Ive owned. I will definitely buy-out my lease and keep this one!

  • Best Car in this Price range - 2000 Audi A6

I have looked at a few cars before buying the A6. Here’s how they compare: Acura TL is nice for its class. It is not a luxury car. It feels like an Accord. Compared to the A6, its interior looks and feels cheap. More road noise. No rear head rest (dangerous in a rear end collision). Lexus GS300 is a bit smoother and a bit quieter but less powerful, loose steering feel, seats do not fold down, smaller trunk. BMW 528 has better exterior styling and is more sporty but less powerful, more road and engine noise, less luxurious interior. Mercedes E320 costs a lot more and I dont think it is worth the money. BTW, A6 2.8 doesn’t have enough power.
