All 2001 Audis receive a new 4-year/50,000-mile limited warranty and no-charge scheduled maintenance, a 12-year limited warranty against corrosion perforation, and 24-hour Roadside Assistance for four years. All A6s are now equipped with the high-tech Immobilizer III security system, side-curtain airbags, a 12-millimeter increase in the headrest height adjustment and an optional multifunction steering wheel.

  My 2001 Audi A6 2.7T is my first Audi but it definitely is not my last. I love this car and everything about it. The inside display on the dash at night is by far the best of any European vehicle. My in-laws have a Mercedes-Benz and it doesnt even come close to this car.

  This car does it all. The quattro system and twin turbo engine combine to provide an amazing level of everyday performance. Ours has been dead reliable, and the free scheduled maintenance is a great perk. Its even something of a bargain, compared to other cars in its class. We tried all the usual suspects (530i, E320 4Matic, GS430) and found that this one had an unbeatable combination of virtues with few drawbacks. We have enjoyed every mile, and I still look back at the car when I walk away - is that love, or what? ;-) Oh, and one more thing - the 2 people who suggested that this car is slow and soft obviously DIDNT drive a 2.7T. 0-60 in 6.6 is FAST in anybodys language....

  Ive had absolutely no complaints since purchasing my 2001 Audi A6 2.8 quattro Sedan a little over four months ago. The driving is superb for any weather, especially Chicagos cold and harsh winters. The leather seats fit me comfortably, and the Bose sound system blows me away. What a car!

  I picked up my 2001 Audi A6 4.2 at a used car dealership that takes in a lot of off lease Audis. My A6 has the sport package which I highly reccommend. I was afraid of buying this car after reading about the reliability issues on several sites but the dealer gave a nice bumper to bumper warranty. I do not regret my decision to buy this car! I love it.

  The audi a6 4.2 is a great car in any weather and is extermly good for small road trips. The quattro actually pulls you through turns and the v8 is very responsive. I would definitly recommend the audi a6 4.2 to anyone.

  Im completing 4 years driving my A6 2.7T, and can easily rate as the best car Ive ever had, including two E- Class Mercedes. Its been utterly flawless, dealer service is excellent, is both fun and luxurious to drive, offers strong V8-like performance. As my lease end neared, I checked out new several cars. NO car Ive driven matched the A6 balance of drivability, comfort, and luxury...so Im keeping it.

  Noone gets hurt in this car. I have had two accidents in this car and all passengers (3 first accident, and 2 the other) walked without a bruise or a scratch. Of course, I took car to L.A.s finest Euro repair shop (Avio Coach Craft). Additionally, the twin turbos really launch this car. If owners have a problem with the maintenance, maybe they should invest their money in other areas>like an extended warranty, which will be about 1/3 of all the repairs, and upkeep of a high performance, luxury car(believe me I checked). This forced induction car has endless possibilities of upgrades! Great as a used car as well.

  We have been very pleased with this purchase. We test drove a Lexus GS300, BMW 328i, Acura TSX, and Infiniti I30t. The Audi was the best value: great price and awesome set of features. Who would pay 5k more for an inferior vehicle (GS300, 328i). For some reason pre-owned Audis are a great buy in the Atlanta area (well below blue book and Edmunds TMV).
