Everything about this car makes it fun to drive. Pick up, power, smoothness, ergonomics and safety are awesome. I like the fact that the car isnt ostentatious. Its understated elegance and comfort without making "a statement" about what you drive.

Very happy - 2000 Audi A6
By DMH - November 5 - 2:00 amMy husband and I have owned Audi cars for 20 years. He currently drives the S8 I love this car. I am the original owner and have had no problems with it. I had problems with previous Audis but this one I ordered custom. Perhaps that made a difference or maybe they have finally addressed a few of their quality issues.

By Brad K - October 26 - 1:00 amThis car is a blast to drive!!! handeling is unbeleivible it has a look that no other car has nice wide flares around the wheels better than the A8 and S4. the fit in finish on these cars is awsome... the sound system is great too. lots of trunk space we can pack alot of stuff in this baby.Awsome car!!!!

Best of All Worlds - 2000 Audi A6
By Multiple Audi Owner - October 3 - 2:00 amWe already have two other Audis, and bought a used 2000 A6 Avant (coming off lease) this past summer. Great car. Like all recent Audis, the best fit & finish, interior and exterior design in the business. This is by far the best looking wagon in North America (my sister owns a Merc E class wagon, and admits my cars superior style / design). This car is very comfortable on long hauls, and has great space for my three dogs. Superbly crafted, with lots of nice touches (double cargo mats, sun shade, retractable cargo net, etc.). Totally different in ride character from my 2001 A4 2.8Q (both do what they do quite well!).

Great car but poor reliability for price - 2000 Audi A6
By dardman - September 10 - 2:00 amIn addition to 3 gas-guage, a front bumper and some other recall, leaking windshield washer, and a broken mirror switch all under warranty, the Check Engine light came on at 51,000 miles. Surprise: both catalytic converters are shot (covered), and the tranny and main rear seals are leaking (not covered, $1300). My one concern before buying an Audi was their poor reputation for build quality, which improved in the 1990s so I took a chance on the long-term mechanical reliability. I love driving this car but for the price it is not nearly reliable enough and weve only had it for 3 1/2 years.

A6 2.7T 6 spd - 2000 Audi A6
By Puma128 - September 5 - 2:00 amExcellent car, great power and very smooth, good gas mileage to boot. The twin turbo deliervers more low end torque than the 4.2 V8. Lots of nice features. And if you want more power (not that you need it in this car) you can get alot more power via performance chip.
