Audi Surprising Satisfaction - 2001 Audi A6
By Redhead - May 15 - 2:00 amWhen I purchased the Audi, I had driven a reliably Chevy Tahoe for three years to recover from a Lemon Lexus... I have been incredibly satisfied by my purchase of a dealer demonstrator. This car is the most exciting drive: it combines superb road feel with precise handling in a luxury envelope. In one day, Ive driven 700 miles in my A6 comfortably. So good, my best friend bought one just like it!

Why pay for a BMW or MB - 2001 Audi A6
By SoaringBlu - May 8 - 2:00 amI traded my E320 4Matic in for the A6 and will never go back to MB. Ive driven my A6 2.7T in all kinds of weather and conditions with outstanding results. The 2.7T bi-turbo has excellent throtel response and the automatic trans can be shifted like a 5 speed. Five adults fit in with no shoe horning, alot of interior room. The truck could be a little bigger but it works fine. Ive been on several 1500 mile trips with this car and feel relaxed at the end. This is an outstanding automobile which outperforms BMW and MB.

One Great Automobile! - 2001 Audi A6
By Captain Daddy - April 23 - 2:00 amI didnt expect to love this car. After a 20 minute work out with a 540, I was still pumped when I got to the Audi dealer. I expected to confirm 540 supremacy - wrong! The A6 shocked me - beautiful & polished solid feel from the door handle to the wheel powerful, lusty V8 smooth & confident pedal response and a "one-ness" not found in the BMW. I knew the quattro would have an advantage in snow & ice, I didnt expect the significant difference on wet, gravel, sandy roads, or even uphill turning acceleration. The 540 is an awesome car on a clear dry day, but for an everyday sports sedan there is no comparison.

Lots of Bang for the Buck! - 2001 Audi A6
By Mercury - April 15 - 2:00 amI bought my A-6 2.8 Quattro new 2 years ago after extensive review and test drives of BMW 325/330 XI, Mercedes C Class and Chryser 300 M. Its been a great car for me. For my money its a super value in a near luxury car-much better than the competition. The workmanship and quality has been very high, the ride - quiet on highway and handles very well for a mid size sedan. Drives like a dream in bad weather with Quattro. Controls laid out nicely and great room in entire cabin-including rear seats where my friends of 65 sat comfortably-try that in the smaller compacts. Truck space is huge for a car of this size.

A6 2.7T 6 speed - 2001 Audi A6
By saaber - September 22 - 10:00 amSport suspension option makes this car an excellent daily driver. The power of the bi-turbo engine and 6 speed transmission are an excellent combo. Quattro is great in the snow and for getting the power and torque of the engine to the road.

A-6 Avant exceeds expectations. - 2001 Audi A6
By GAD - December 9 - 10:00 amExceeds expectations in every manner. I needed a car to accommodate seven of which two are children under six. There is ample room with great responsiveness even when the car is full. The car is reliable. I am bewildered as to why anyone would not consider this car.

Turbos=torque. Torque=fun - 2001 Audi A6
By auditurbo - July 17 - 2:00 amThis is a fun luxuary car. It is amazingly fast and reliable. But all good things unfortunately come to an end. It is my understanding that this wonderful will not offer the bi-turbo engine when the car is redesigned. That is a big disappointment...maybe I should get an 03 before they are all gone.
