  My 2005 Audi A6 absolutely rocks! I had planned on buying a Porsche Cayenne and decided to test drive the A6 while at the dealership. They have made so many improvements to this car! We already own an older A6 and this car is NOTHING like it! So... long story short.... we fell in love and traded our BMW in for an A6 and it was the best decision! Drive one.... you will be amazed!

  My 2005 Audi A6 3.2 drives very well, even in the snow we have been getting. The features are not very intuitive (I had to read the entire manual + the MMI guide). Once familiar with the cockpit, I am sure the car will be great. Stylistically, I like the new design. The car feels bigger than my 2002 A6. Even the headlights are sophisticated. The full screen Navigation is a better system than previous editions. I also like the fact that the entire country is on one DVD versus the previous systems multiple discs and lack of a screen.

  I spent a considerable amount of time researching, reading every review, test driving as many vehicles as I could in this class. I knew from the moment I sat behind the wheel of the A6 that this was the car for me. So far - Ive had the car for half a week - and I have been very impressed with the ride and pickup of the 3.2L engine. The distinctive front end and elegant rear have drawn a lot of looks and compliments from friends & strangers. Although every car in this class has very similar technology (bluetooth, nav, RF keys, etc. I have been very impressed with the integration of this technology in the A6 - very effective and valuable while remaining, most importantly, easy to use

  Being an ex-Subaru Manufacturing Rep., my experiences with cars go farther than most consumers. With this, I found a car that has blown my socks off. My 2005 Audi A6 4.2 has taken me through rain, snow and ice without a hitch. The cockpit is well thought out, with the instruments slightly tilted toward the driver and the lighting perfect (you can adjust as well). I tested this vehicle against the BMW 545, Mercedes-Benz E500 4matic, Acura RL AWD, and Subaru Turbo Legacy GT. This vehicle outperformed all and in my eyes, shamed all.

  Almost everything about the car is terrific, except for the ludicrous and unsafe MMI. Previously I had an A8; with the A6 I lost nothing in comfort, feel, looks, or quality. Get the sports suspension, but negotiate to swap the (bundled) 18" wheels for 17" -- they still look nice, and theyre safer. Id prefer better sight lines from the drivers seat -- the high glass and the slope of the car make it impossible to see any corner of the car -- but thats (unfortunately) a common flaw. I test drove the 3.2 and liked it *a lot*, but I found a little hole accelerating from around 25 or 28 MPH, so I popped for the larger engine. A good car -- cross your fingers on reliability.

  Traded a my 740i in on the 4.2 A6 and have driven 5000 miles in 2 months. Not one problem and every mile was a thrill. i look forward to driving this every day --- rain, snow or shine. Outstanding acceleration, cornering and highway stability. Audi really got it right!!

  I watched the pictures & video as they appeared on the AudiUSA.com web site. I didnt think the car could look or drive anywhere near what they advertised... I was wrong. Once I saw the new A6, I new I needed to have it! I traded my 02 A6 4.2 for the 05 - Its faster, the interior is amazing, and it handles better than the 02, if you can believe it. The redesign finally puts cup holders where you need them, but they removed the carpeted door pockets, darn.

  My 2005 Audi A6 3.2 quattro feels like it is magnetically sealed to the road. Even with strong acceleration and excellent handling, the ride is very comfortable. The MMI system provides an amazing level of control over nearly every aspect of the car, IF YOU WANT IT; but does not require a computer science background to make use of most things. The Sirius radio (not an option we were necessarily looking for) is SUPERB.

  This is once nice automobile. I came from an A4 Avant - and a big difference it is. The sport seats are great as is the sound of the V8. The solar roof is also a great feature to have in the warmer climates. No problems so far and the MMI is pretty easy to master. A much better looking vehicle both inside and out than a BMW 5-series, not to mention a better value for the money.
