The Acura TSX receives minor engine, feature and styling changes for 2006. The car's 2.4-liter, four-cylinder engine has been modified to produce a bit more power; it now makes 205 horsepower and 164 lb-ft of torque. Inside, there is an upgraded optional navigation system that's faster, has more points of interest and includes access to a Zagat restaurant guide. A hands-free cell phone interface and a digital audio media auxiliary jack are also new. Exterior enhancements for the 2006 Acura TSX include redesigned front and rear fascias, new side sills, foglamps and new alloy wheels.

• An engine that loves to rev and sounds good doing it, sharp handling, slick six-speed manual transmission, upscale interior look and feel, long standard equipment list, top-of-the-line navigation system.

• Not much power until the engine gets revved up.

  We just purcashed this car, but absolutely love it so far. I believe this car has the best features for the money and is going to be a very reliable and durable car moving forward.

  Good, solid car. Yet you can feel the heaviness of it when making turns. Look at the exterior design from a distance. It doesnt look sporty. The car does go though. Its no joke, but it just seems kind of ho-hum.

  Just a tremendous car. I just got home with it tonight after putting on the first 120 miles or so (just driving around), so I may be a bit in that "I love my new car" mode. But, thats the way it should be. The drive is smooth, quiet, and rips around the side streets and highways with great handling. The interior and gadgets are laid out perfectly right in front of you, and it feels as though youre in the cockpit of an airplane. Just superb in every respect.

  Went Downhill - 2006 Acura TSX

  I loved the car when I first bought it, but two years later, I am looking to get rid of it. The interior road noise is louder than my truck. The wipers were very streaky from the day I bought the car. The car does not handle well in snow. My leather seats are already wearing out. I drive over 60 miles a day and every day I grow to dislike it a little more. The gas mileage when when I frist bought it averaged between 30-32 MPG, now I am lucky if I can get over 25 MPG. My seats take forever to heat up now, at first they were HOT in a flash. On the plus side, Acura DOES give a lot of options for the money. Very sporty and fun!

  This vehicle is beautiful. I waited for the 2006 model to be released and am very glad I did so. The vehicle drives like a dream and has the comfort and technology one would expect of a vehicle costing thousands more. Even though the vehicle "only" has a 4-banger, it is surprisingly quick off the line (Acura has the vehicles total weight in mind, not just the engine.) The interior is well designed and all the fit and finish is immaculate. I have been driving the vehicle for a few days now and find new and fun features that make the daily commute just as enjoyable as the back road joyride. I highly recommend this vehicle!!

  Fun to Drive - 2006 Acura TSX

  Just got the TSX 6sp and enjoy the drive after having a 95 Acura Integra. Great performance, handling and looks. Moderate gas mileage, however, as I expected above 30mpg, and seem to only get about 27mpg on highway. Just noticed significant squeaking in drivers seat, and saw another review on problem with seat rail. Anyone else experiencing problems with seats squeaking? Great car, great performance, and got a great price at my Acura dealership- below invoice. Buy this car, but look at seat noices as you test drive.

  The 6-speed manual is very smooth shifting. All of the controls are right where I expect them to be. I never have to reach far for anything. Bluetooth hands free connection built into the car. This is a great feature for anyone who drives a manual. I can now answer or make a phone call without ever having to remove my left hand from the steering wheel or my right hand from the shifter.

  This is the car to own for "bang for the buck". Not many people have the TSX which is a bonus. Nothing touches it in its price range, NOTHING.

  Ive owned some nice cars in the past, many that were considerably more expensive. The TSX is a tremendous value. I drive 30,000 mile a year. I need a comfortable car, but I also want the performance and handling. Its not always easy to find both. Acura got it just right in the TSX.
