Overview & Reviews
Acura adds XM Satellite Radio, heated door mirrors and a four-way power passenger seat to the standard features list. The steering wheel-mounted audio and cruise controls are now illuminated.
- An engine that loves to rev and sounds good doing it, sharp handling, slick six-speed manual transmission, upscale interior look and feel, long list of standard equipment, top-of-the-line navigation system for those who want it.
- Forgettable styling, not much power until the engine gets revved up.

Great car - 2005 Acura TSX
By Jonathan - July 3 - 10:56 pmBought used with 13000 on it. Have put 15000 on it in a year. Absolutely no problems. The handling is great. The automatic transmission is super smooth. By far, the best car you can get for the money. Great resale value and great driving experience.

Great Intro-Luxury Car! - 2005 Acura TSX
By Les - June 22 - 7:36 amA lot of thought was put into this car. Smooth shifting using the "tiptronic" mode, but sluggish on the low end. Get it up to 4000 rpm, and look out. Runs like a six otherwise...outstanding deal for the money.

My 1st Acura - 2005 Acura TSX
By Wendy - April 28 - 8:06 amThis is my first Acura and I know that I will be an Acura owner for life. My car is over a year old and I still love it as much today as I did the day I drove it off the lot. It is sleek & sporty, comfortable and not to mention, fast! I get so many compliments on the exterior, but once youll gone for a ride, you just cant stop talking about it. Everyones impressed and so am I!

Enjoyable car - 2005 Acura TSX
By John - March 31 - 5:16 amFirst thing I have to mention is that the dealership I purchased from was willing to negotiate price. The safety features drew me to the TSX along with the horsepower. In researching out other cars in this category I was amazed at the features that came standard on the TSX. Its a fun car to drive and looks good but the back seats are the right size for children, adults will have a tough time getting in and out. Another surprise is that the car is not supposed to have a total load of over 850 pounds in it which means four adults can ride in it and no more but that is good considering how the back is so small. I like the tan interior but it is difficult to keep clean.

Loving My TSX - 2005 Acura TSX
By Liz Armstrong - February 4 - 12:40 amI love my car and I am very happy with it, and have absolutely no complaints. It is very fun to drive, and people comment on it everywhere I go, and the gas mileage is ok. I did expect better mileage of a 4-cylinder though.

a fine car - 2005 Acura TSX
By zirconahoo.com - January 26 - 1:20 amThe tranny and engine pairing is excellent, the interior is beautiful. The engine is a little weak on torque low in the power curve, but it picks up quickly.

Wonderful Car - 2005 Acura TSX
By Bishopsring - January 23 - 2:39 pmIt has been two years, two trips to California, Austin and Dallas. The car runs admirably. Lacking in power, it provides gas mileage, comfort, and fun driving. The overhead blue light during the night adds a unique but classy ambiance. The interior and use of all available space provide a wonderful usage for anything and everything, cell phones, chargers, cd cases. With performance being its only down point, I understand the balance, but it needs the extra horsepower or burst of speed off the line. There is one aspect from changing from second gear to third gear where it gets stuck even with the clutch completely down. Great car.

Good value - 2005 Acura TSX
By Blis - January 12 - 5:00 amI am very happy with my TSX. It has all the features that I wanted (stylish, nice engine, leather seats, manual transmission) for a very reasonable price. It feels good on the road, and gets awesome MPG (26 mpg so far, mixed city and highway driving, up to 80-90mph). Cars bad sides are: weak aftermarket support, radio is simple (no RDS, nothing fancy, still sounds good though) and some rattles (addressed by the dealership). More power would be nice as well.

Best value on the market - 2005 Acura TSX
By jogee - December 14 - 3:33 amSave yourself some time. If youre looking for a higher-end vehicle that gets great gas mileage, is of outstanding quality, has great performance, and is a good value, get the Acura TSX. Im sure Lexus, Infiniti, Audi, and BMW have very good competing models. But you cant touch them for the same money. I researched vehicles for about 5 months before I bought my TSX. So far its lived up to my every expectation. Not sorry I made the choice. Engine noise is almost non-existent, even at high RPMs. This little car will really get up and go if you want it to. More that acceptable acceleration, even at low RPMs (considering its a 4-banger). A great car and a great value!
