Overview & Reviews
Acura adds XM Satellite Radio, heated door mirrors and a four-way power passenger seat to the standard features list. The steering wheel-mounted audio and cruise controls are now illuminated.
- An engine that loves to rev and sounds good doing it, sharp handling, slick six-speed manual transmission, upscale interior look and feel, long list of standard equipment, top-of-the-line navigation system for those who want it.
- Forgettable styling, not much power until the engine gets revved up.

TSX Infatuation - 2005 Acura TSX
By luvmytsx - June 26 - 7:33 pmI am totally in love with this car. It accelerates quickly, handles very well even in heavy rain. The navi is great, especially in areas with lots of one way streets, or when to get home is different than getting to a location. As a pragmatist that wants luxury it fits the bill with the performance I want and the comfort and style to boot. Im getting 23.9 miles per gallon in heavy DC traffic.

Entry level sports sedan - 2005 Acura TSX
By TJ - June 11 - 8:36 amThe 6-spd manual is a blast to drive. The throws are sweet and short. The 2.4L I-4 has good low end torque and can boogie at the upper rpms. The interior is beautiful with just about every luxury feature one would want. The factory stereo with in dash 6 disc changer is very powerful and crisp with great imaging. Fuel economy is as good as 30 mpg on highway. The ride is sporty without being too harsh or jarring. Good size backseat can actually accommodate 2-3 adults.

Run to your Acura dealership - 2005 Acura TSX
By SunnyG - June 6 - 4:10 amI was looking for a 4 door sport sedan for a few months now, and am extremely glad i went with the TSX. i dont know any other car that gives you so much (sunroof, leather, XM, xenon, 200hp, and a very slick 6spd) for the money, all with a dose of style, solidness, and personality. if youve been thinking about a car in this category, you owe it to yourself to check out the TSX.

71K and going strong! - 2005 Acura TSX
By Convert - October 16 - 6:39 amLove the car, surprising acceleration for a 4 cylinder sedan. I have the manual six speed and normally get 30 - 31 mpg. It is a tight steering, solid built car that handles like a sports car. Overall design is well thought out and useful. Down side? I missed a rear window washer wiper, and view to the rear is in need of improvement, with perhaps different mirror size or design. Only problem I have had so far is the keyless entry system bowed out in partial failure. Lock/unlock doors has ceased to work without using the key.

Very Good Buy - 2005 Acura TSX
By scampbell - August 26 - 8:40 pmI bought this car about 3 years ago and its been a great car so far. No issues at all. Gas mileage has been much better than advertised and Im getting about 26/34 consistently. I looked at a bunch of cars before selecting this one and I cant imagine getting a better value anywhere else. The price of the car was very reasonable considering all the features you get. I will definitely consider buying another Acura when I decide to upgrade in a couple years.

Sport and Luxury! - 2005 Acura TSX
By GFunk - August 12 - 9:06 pmIve put about 2K miles on this car so far, and it has been a true pleasure to drive. It is comfortable for daily driving and long drives. I took it on a trip from San Diego to Las Vegas, and it was a real pleasure. However, it really shines on the twisty roads. Ive taken it up into the mountains, and it flew through the turns with little body lean. The sports shift was almost as fun as a manual!I looked at a number of other cars in the sports sedan segment, and the TSX offers the most balanced package: sporty, luxury, reliability, and inexpensive.

Still fun after 3+ years - 2005 Acura TSX
By coolbeap - July 26 - 9:18 amBought the car new 3 years ago. I still love driving it! Still has great "curb appeal." My wife is tired of driving our minivan - always asking to drive the TSX to work. Black exterior looks brand new. TSX gives th appearance of a luxuray car but cost less than $26K (in 2005). Never been in for repair.

Extremely Happy! - 2005 Acura TSX
By amora14 - June 26 - 3:55 pmI purchased the Acura TSX a week ago, my prior car was the Ford Focus. I was going to get the Fusion but I wanted a car that could stand alone. I decided to go with the 2005 model because it had most everything the o8 had in it for almost half the price. The navigation system is awesome. I love to drive the car at night and night time use to be what I would dread. The car handles well around corners and when I come to a stop it so smooth! I did not realize Acura held the prestige in this car that it does. Excellent vehicle!
