Overview & Reviews
The Acura TSX receives minor engine, feature and styling changes for 2006. The car's 2.4-liter, four-cylinder engine has been modified to produce a bit more power; it now makes 205 horsepower and 164 lb-ft of torque. Inside, there is an upgraded optional navigation system that's faster, has more points of interest and includes access to a Zagat restaurant guide. A hands-free cell phone interface and a digital audio media auxiliary jack are also new. Exterior enhancements for the 2006 Acura TSX include redesigned front and rear fascias, new side sills, foglamps and new alloy wheels.
- An engine that loves to rev and sounds good doing it, sharp handling, slick six-speed manual transmission, upscale interior look and feel, long standard equipment list, top-of-the-line navigation system.
- Not much power until the engine gets revved up.

The Best Overall Value In Its Class!!! - 2006 Acura TSX
By 2006CarbonGrayTSX - February 1 - 4:53 amI researched for months & test drove several entry-level luxury sport sedans before deciding on the TSX. The Acura was the total package. Although it wasnt the fastest, and didnt have the best fuel economy, it was the BEST OVERALL VALUE in terms of features, reliability, performance, handling and price - at under $30K

Acura TSX 06 Review - 2006 Acura TSX
By darkriftx - January 28 - 11:23 pmI just bought my TSX about a week ago. I have been very impressed with the internal and external build quality of the car. It has good acceleration, good handling, and is very fun to drive. The four cylinder is more than powerful enough for the size and has plenty of torque.

Fun Econoluxe Gas Sipper - 2006 Acura TSX
By cartfan72 - December 30 - 5:10 pmWe compared this against the new Jetta. We felt the Jetta (GLI) drove better (more torquey and quicker handling), but could not pass up the unparalleled Acura Navi system, built in Bluetooth and overall build quality. Our dealer experience here in Cary NC was very poor when it came time to negotiate a final price on the car we wanted. After offering a firm price I was told the car I wanted had been sold and no others in the area were available! What a lie!I found one myself only an hour away.I ended up buying the car out of state and saved about $1000, even with transportation costs. But, it was definitely worth the added hastle. The dealer I used in MD was fantastic, throrough and fair.

Love My TSX - 2006 Acura TSX
By Trish - December 21 - 5:06 pmWas debating between this and the TL. The TL is made in the US, the TSX in Japan. Had to think about fuel economy. The TSXs backseat folds down, the TLs does not. Price to consider. No MP3 plug in TL. Decided on the TSX and love it! Have had to take it in once since I bought it 6 weeks ago for a drivers seat that creaked when turning a corner - very annoying. The loaner car they gave me creaked worse than mine! A flaw in the design? They fixed mine and its good as new (I told them to fix the loaner too!) Also have not been able to get the drivers seat as comfortable as my 2002 Accord was. Tons of positions, maybe its me?

Cannot beat features for the Price - 2006 Acura TSX
By Joey - November 26 - 12:13 amThis car matches up with the Volvo S40, BMW 325, and Audi A4, and for the price it is hands down the best car out of the bunch. Navigation is a must for this car, spend the extra $$.

Awesome automobile - 2006 Acura TSX
By Rich - October 30 - 1:30 amI am so happy that I decided on buying the TSX. I also looked at BMW 325i, Audi A4, Lexus IS250 & Subaru WRX. The Acura TSX was simply the best value, and was in itself a truely awesome car. THat coupled with the Acura warranty & customer care made me jump for it.

Excellent choice in the Northeast - 2006 Acura TSX
By Helene Morris - September 28 - 10:13 pmI recently traded my 5 year old VW Passat 4 Motion Wagon for a 2006 TSX with Navigation. Considering the impetuous Connecticut winters, I was apprehensive about swapping all wheel drive for front wheel drive; no worries here. On New Years Eve we were off to a night of entertainment at Mohegan Sun with four inches of snow between us and the casino. The car managed the slippery conditions and just as we thought we were free and clear another sedan in front of us spun out and landed against the guard rail. The TSX VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist) performed as designed as we manuvered our way around the accident. We did not slide or lose traction once. I no longer worry.

Luxury, Perfomance & Value - 2006 Acura TSX
By Rybes - July 22 - 6:30 amAfter looking at the 325, A4 and IS250, the TSX was the obvious choice. Comparable 325 was $36k with storage issues and outdated interior. Competitors options are standard on this car plus maintenance is almost non existent. Quicker, quieter and better quality than the S60 I was driving. Much has changed for the better since my 94 Accord EX. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for an entry level luxury and look forward to my next Acura!

Perfection Product at Value Price - 2006 Acura TSX
By Craddie - May 10 - 6:13 amThis is my 3rd consecutive new Honda product, the last being an 03 Acura RSX Type S. We outgrew the RSX and were seriously considering the A4 and IS250 because we wanted RWD or AWD. We only went to the Acura dealership to find out the balance oweing on the RSX. We were sweet-talked into a test drive and our decision was made, we just had to pick a colour. I really cant understand how one could rationalize purchasing one of the TSXs competitors, unless it was CRITICAL that they had AWD or that it be German. This car is beautiful, performs well, extremely well equipped and is as comfortable as the Waldorf. A++++ to Acura for the 06 TSX. I cant imagine ever growing tired of it.
