Overview & Reviews
The Acura TSX receives minor engine, feature and styling changes for 2006. The car's 2.4-liter, four-cylinder engine has been modified to produce a bit more power; it now makes 205 horsepower and 164 lb-ft of torque. Inside, there is an upgraded optional navigation system that's faster, has more points of interest and includes access to a Zagat restaurant guide. A hands-free cell phone interface and a digital audio media auxiliary jack are also new. Exterior enhancements for the 2006 Acura TSX include redesigned front and rear fascias, new side sills, foglamps and new alloy wheels.
- An engine that loves to rev and sounds good doing it, sharp handling, slick six-speed manual transmission, upscale interior look and feel, long standard equipment list, top-of-the-line navigation system.
- Not much power until the engine gets revved up.

Great Car for the Money - 2006 Acura TSX
By Fred in Phoenix - November 2 - 9:03 amI chose the TSX over, among others, Lexus I-250 and Infiniti G-35. Price was a concern, but not deciding. I eliminated CTS because of size. I wouldnt go back to a 6 after driving this 4. Great performance and fuel economy for this typr of vehicle. Great stereo and interior; not really a family car--can seat 4 easily, but 5 would be a stretch for any distance. I also favor low-front, low profile Acura styling. Lexus was a great vehicle also, but probably over $6,000 more expensive comparably equipped. The deal was quick and painless and I was treated fairly on the trade. If you just want a great car without the cachet and patina of a Lexus (at a much better price), this is the car

06 TSX Rocks! - 2006 Acura TSX
By madtown acura - August 2 - 5:30 pmI love my new TSX... just picked my new Carbon Grey Pearl w/ ebony leather. I opted for the 6sp transmission with the GPS. I was a little leary spending the extra $2k for the GPS but its well worth it! It works so well and is very helpful. After driving the 05, I can say that the 06 is a better car. Fit and finish seems better and the little bump in horsepower is well received. In short - I love my new car and highly recommend aquiring one should you have the means.

Hands down beats comparable sedans - 2006 Acura TSX
By Jeff-Ohio - July 10 - 1:23 pmWhen compared against Volvo S40/S60, Passat, A4, BMW, Saab S3, and Pontiac G6, all with comparable $25-$30k price tag, HP and Mileage, the TSX is superior in nearly every category. Excellent interior and exterior fit/finish. Clean/crisp dash layout and display options. Am getting 34-37 mpg highway, and 22-26 in town. Love the way the car handles and I am sure it will last forever, given my track record with hondas over the last 15 years. Typical honda low RPM performance - need to get it up over 3-3.5k rpm before it starts pushing you in your seat. I am very pleased with the car, and would recommend to all my friends! One of the best kept secrets in its class.

A pleasant surprise - 2006 Acura TSX
By Dee - June 20 - 4:13 pmI have had this wonderful ride for 8 days now and always look forward in driving the TSX. The leather seats are comfy, dash board and radio controls easy to use (especially for a non- computer lover like myself), fit & finish tasteful, and a decent trunk size. We are a family of 4 and this is a nice size for us. Not too small, not too large of a car. Weve had an Olds, Ford, Plymouth, Mitsubishi, Pontiac, and currently have a newer Chevy. This car beats them all no doubt - stylish, luxurious and sporty. Ive had people say they love my Arctic Blue color, which is a color thats different. Manual hard to find but am happy with the automatic. Not many TSXs around, makes me stand out!!

Bought the TSX very used - 2006 Acura TSX
By Sheila Thomas - June 16 - 9:54 pmDuring a recent snowstorm which rendered the roads sheet ice, my 6 speed manual with VSA was the only car making it up the icy hills. For a 10 year old car, it performed like a champ. Ive driven mostly Honda and Acura products and will continue to buy them but am very sad to see that manual transmissions are becoming harder to find in new Acuras. Sadly I may have to get an x drive 3 series BMW for my next car.

Good Upscale Accord - 2006 Acura TSX
By gary41 - May 21 - 7:26 pmCar is a good package for a sub-$30K sport sedan with tons of accessories. Nice not having to buy all the options you do with BMW, et al.

Acura TSX - So Far A Great Car - 2006 Acura TSX
By J Stone - April 15 - 7:06 amI purchased the Acura TSX after owning similar, higher end American cars and test driving a host of similar cars (e.g., Volvo $40 was the closest runner up). I first considered the TSX based on the reviews, but also because it was both fun to drive and had most of the features that I wanted. In particular, it handles much more like an European car than a Honda, which is not surprising since it is marketed extensively in Europe. Moreover, as at least one professional review says, it straddles the luxury, sporty and family car categories well. After a few weeks of ownership, I must say I am very pleased. The car handles well, even in bad weather. I even get compliments on the looks.

What more could you want!!! - 2006 Acura TSX
By Paul Anthony - April 2 - 2:56 pmThis car does everything right. My previous car was a Prelude SH and although it is also a good car, it lacks 2 things, doors. The TSX added more power and a few more standard features that would cost alot more with its competitors. My other choice was a 6MT Accord V6 Sedan, and its a great car, but the TSX is a bit more appealing. I am very satisfied with this purchase and will continue to buy Honda/Acura products.
