Acura adds XM Satellite Radio, heated door mirrors and a four-way power passenger seat to the standard features list. The steering wheel-mounted audio and cruise controls are now illuminated.

Pros:
  • An engine that loves to rev and sounds good doing it, sharp handling, slick six-speed manual transmission, upscale interior look and feel, long list of standard equipment, top-of-the-line navigation system for those who want it.
Cons:
  • Forgettable styling, not much power until the engine gets revved up.

  • FANTASTIC, FUN CAR!! - 2005 Acura TSX

I traded in a 2003 TL and couldnt be happier with my choice! The 2005 tsx is a real head turner and is the perfect car for a sportier feel. Dont be put off by the 4 cylinder engine! This car can really move! Fit and finish are top notch and all the extras come standard. What a value. I simply could not justify spending 10k more for a car with similar features (i.e G35, TL, bmw). You will not be sorry for choosing the 2005 tsx!

Over all a really nice car that will get you from A-B not only in style but in a hurry as well. Interior styling is really nice. Performance is as expected, handles really smooth, and hugs corners well with the VSA. Dash lighting is exceptional, but a little overpowering at night in full bright. Navigation is the most intelligent system out there that I have seen. Not only do you get navi, but you get the trip computer (w/memory), calender/event planner, and other goodies that my not be mentioned. Definitly an awesome car, for the money. Would buy an Acura anytime. The leather is really soft and seats give you oodles of support. Great car for the growing family.

  • Whats not to like??? - 2005 Acura TSX

I just traded my 2001 Acura 3.2 CL in for a TSX. The TSX has a smaller engine, but is almost as peppy as the V-6 powered CL. I took a model with the unwanted Navigation system because it was on the lot and was the color I wanted. After two lengthy trips in the car Ive been converted - the nav system is indeed useful. To recycle an old quote, the car tracks like "a cannonball dropped down a chimney" - very responsive to steering and pedal input. It has a nice controlled ride without being harsh. The interior is quite comfortable and all of the cars controls and switches are easily reachable and ergonomically well thought out. Styling is a matter of personal opinion, but I like it.

  • TSX Praise - 2005 Acura TSX

After driving a 1989 Acura Integra for 187000 miles, I figured there wasnt any problem of choice for a new car. The TSX is the rebirth of why I bought my first Acura ... style, handling, which is a top priority of mine as I used to rally a 1965 Ford Cortina. The TSX is a lot more refined then my Integra was. Quieter, faster, smoother ride, good acceleration when needed and a lot more creature comforts starting with the comfortable heated seats, the lumbar support, more headroom, more legroom and a host of standard items that are optional on other makes.I am a professional photographer and being able to put the rear seats down gives me plenty of space for equipment.

  • Buyers remorse - whats that? - 2005 Acura TSX

I wanted a nicely equipped, fun to drive car that wouldnt break 35 grand level. I had a closer look and test drove A4 1.8T, 325i and TSX. Audi and BMW are of course very nice cars but once you start throwing in options (leather seats, premium stereo, xenon lights, etc) it is very difficult to stay beyond the price level I wanted. The TSX is a whole different story - it drives as nice as the other cars, it comes fully loaded and what really sold me is reliability - being a very busy professional I have no time to waste at repair shops. I never double guessed my decision - the car looks great, drives like a dream and is a real head turner. Get one, you wont regret.

  • TSX- what a find - 2005 Acura TSX

I first saw the TSX at an auto show in Fort Worth. I knew right away its what I was looking for. The interior is like a luxury car, the Nav system is wonderful. This is a car that will knock your socks off!!

did a lot of research-best car for the money i spent-i was a little hesitant to spend 28 grand on something that depreciates so quickly, but its well worth it.

I had driven the TSX when my 97 Acura was in for service and I fell in love with it. It is appropriate for family, children and the trunk is extra large. You can fold the back seat down and transport large items. It is very sporty for a sedan.

  • No import imitation here, the real deal - 2005 Acura TSX
    By -

I cross-shopped the TSX with a Lexus IS 300. I felt the TSX has a more sophisticated interior, and that it would have better Snow Belt traction. Ive driven my fathers 2001 Camry XLE V6 which has 16" wheels and it felt very bouncy and jittery. I was shocked to find the TSX was very composed with larger 17" rims, except for the occassional road bumps, which feels like soft jolts. The TSX feels glued to the road at all times and it is quiet. The 4 cylinder engine is audible in the cabin at idle and there are tire noise on rough pavement. Acceleration in the 35mph-60mph range is smooth, very fast & responsive.
