Overview & Reviews
The TL has been completely redesigned for 2004. A 270-horsepower V6 is standard, and both a six-speed manual and a five-speed automatic transmission are available. The level of luxury inside the cabin is up, and driving dynamics are better than ever.
- Luxurious interior, long list of standard equipment, powerful V6 engine, slick-shifting six-speed manual, pleasant blend of ride comfort and fun.

Tops the competitors in all areas - 2004 Acura TL
By hobster - May 7 - 2:00 amIncredible car for the price. We drove the BMW 3 series, Infiniti G35, etc. The TL beat each and every competitor for hp, build quality, interior materials, interior room, features, and handling. The only thing Acura lacks at this time is the brand image, but with the TL, new TSX, and recent MDX, Acura may be a full fledged competitor in the luxury car line now!

Best Car I Ever Owned - 2004 Acura TL
By Tonymarsol - May 1 - 2:00 amGREAT CAR...wanted this car for awhile, finally got it this Jan. Just took it on a 4 hr road trip at 80 mph very nice ride...and 28 mpg not bad. Was very impressed with the whole package, overall quality, fit, finish, interior materials, smooth and comfortable ride but still sporty. Acura thought of just about eveything when putting this car together. And all for under 35K

Impressed - 2004 Acura TL
By flipper6 - May 1 - 2:00 amThe car is new (not yet broken in) but so far very impressed. Ride is sporty but comfortable. Stereo is excellent but do not think 5.1 DVD really adds much quality. I am 6 foot 5 inches and I fit into this car.

WOW - 2004 Acura TL
By jpro22 - April 27 - 10:00 amFantastic...This car has it all. Horsepower, comfort, accessibility are just a few of the luxuries of this well built automobile. Front wheel drive has its draw backs with this amount of power, but come snow season Ill be passing all the rear wheel drive cars.

FASTEST SEDAN AROUND - 2004 Acura TL
By BILLYS CAR - April 20 - 10:00 amTHIS CAR HANDLES GREAT, VERY LITTLE PUSH IN HARD CORNERS. THE ACCELERATION IS OUT THERE FOR A 3.2 V-6. THE CAR IS SOLID WITH NO RATTLES, IF YOU DID HAVE ONE YOU COULDNT HEAR IT OVER THE SOUND SYSTEM.

Great Car - 2004 Acura TL
By bj jones - March 26 - 2:00 amQuick and quiet and very comfortable. After many hours of research over two months, I determined that the two best cars for the money by far in the $32k-40k range were the G35 and the Acura TL. The Acura is loaded with standard features and I prefer the FWD for slick roads. I drove both of them & bought the TL because Acura depreciates less, has lower maintenance costs, and has a better safety rating than Infiniti

Recommended "Buy" - 2004 Acura TL
By FloridaTLFan - March 19 - 2:00 amFor several months, I searched for the "right" next car to buy; BMW, Infiniti, SAAB, even Cadillac and Mercedes. Hands down, the test drive of the new for 2004 TL sold me on the car. It is comfortable, spacious - and Fun (yes, with a capital "F"). And, for the price - there is no beating the included features.

Im In Love Again - 2004 Acura TL
By executive - March 19 - 2:00 amI got my white diamond pearl TL with parchment interior just b4 xmas. I absolutely love this car. As my first new car purchase, I am not disappointed. I drove it straight from the dealers lot(North Carolina) to Disney World Orlando. It was a blast and surely a head turner everywhere I went. I had to watch for cops but it was fun cruising @ 90 and the car feels like its going 60. A friend told me, he was upset but somehow he calmed down once in my TL and got mad again once he stepped out of the car. I achieved a sub 7second time for 0-60. Go for a testdrive(20minutes minimum and just punch the pedal, youd smile when you are upto 100 in about 11seconds).

Beware of the name - 2004 Acura TL
By Lucas31 - March 14 - 10:00 amFirst week was a blast. I drove it everywhere I could. After that, things started to happen. Rattles from the glovebox, rattles from the headliner, vibrations from the sunroof. the dealer, of course did not hear the problem. My TL was in the shop more than in my garage. I must say I will be trading it in for a BMW. You might pay a bit more but it is well worth the price!
