Great Car for a Great Price - 2003 Acura TL
By A-Man - July 22 - 2:00 amGreat ride, great buy and gives BMW a run for its money. This car whoops BMWs 530i out of the water and keeps money in your bank account. No regrets except for not getting the 6 speed.

Great Car to Drive - 2003 Acura TL
By Osaze - July 22 - 2:00 amThe TL S type is really a sports car that has been somewhat tweaked to perform as a luxury seadan. But wait, there are reservations. This car provides tremendous road feel through its torque sensitive steering and rather stiff suspension. The one reservations is that you really feel those road bumps come right into the cabin as you drive. However, the suspension keeps you always connected to the road and the front of the car tracks every road surface undulation at its subtlest. Great car for the sport enthusiast, but stay away those who feel that this car will smooth out every bump in the road like a Lexus.

Not What I Expected - 2003 Acura TL
By Dean206 - July 18 - 2:00 amConvinced to trade new, 1.5 month old, gorgeous 03 Maxima SE on new 03 Acura TL. Each day since purchase, (6 months ago) Ive regretted purchasing the 03 TL. Maxima was much faster, thrill to drive; loved engine, exterior, interior (everything). Honestly dont care for the Acura at all (engine, interior, exterior). Acura rides rough, and is sluggish relative to Maxima. Sometimes bump head (only 60" tall) when getting in (even with seat at lowest point). Loved the last Acura Legend, but 03 TL falls short. No complaints about reliability, but I plan to get a 2003 Maxima this year (dont like look of 2004 Maxima).

Great Car, Great Buy - 2003 Acura TL
By GreatSmile - June 23 - 10:00 amAfter test driving the TL type S, I just have to get one. I was looking into GS300 and almost took delivery on one. The handling and horsepower on the type S is awsome. Sure the brand new 2004 are coming but the 03 TL type S is still a great performance car and should not be overlooked.

Awesome - 2003 Acura TL
By ohanman - June 4 - 10:00 amOutstanding value. Almost bought a Lexus GS300 but the Lexus dealer couldnt get the car I wanted. Decided to look at the Acura and couldnt believe how much more you get for $12K less!!! The only thing I gave up was rear wheel drive, but the Acura drives suprisingly well for a front-driver.

Pride and Joy: My 2003 Acura TL Type-S - 2003 Acura TL
By T. Godfrey - June 1 - 10:00 amFrom the moment I took delivery of my 2003 Acura TL Type-S, I knew it was going to be a match made in heaven. From its smooth acceleration, superb cornering ability, roomy interior, dependability, and the blissful aesthetics - I am still convinced I made the correct choice in purchasing an Acura. While driving to/from work, I still get the occasional stair from curious on- lookers. I love my TL!

Despite shortcomings, best value overall - 2003 Acura TL
By jnsacura - May 29 - 10:00 amCompared to other sedans in its class, the TL type-S falls slightly behind the best in performance and comfort, however the lower price, high reliability, favorable insurance crash test results and high resale were too practical to ignore. They even outweighed the numerous shortcomings, some of which are listed below.

A Vigor review (preceeds the TL) - 2003 Acura TL
By Scott Packard - May 17 - 2:00 amMy wife owns a 92 Acura Vigor, the predecessor of the TL. 5cyl 2.5L engine. Weve turned 180k miles last week. She had committed to buying a new car two years ago, but went back on her promise, mostly because this car is still too reliable. I do most of the repairs myself, but on most weekends I have nothing to do. Even the accessories have all held up (something which I know to break on Merkin cars). The alternator has never been rebuilt, the power steering pump finally gave out at 176k, and Ive put on the 2nd timing belt (90k change intervals). Who would think Id be on my third belt!?
