Overview & Reviews
The TL has been completely redesigned for 2004. A 270-horsepower V6 is standard, and both a six-speed manual and a five-speed automatic transmission are available. The level of luxury inside the cabin is up, and driving dynamics are better than ever.
- Luxurious interior, long list of standard equipment, powerful V6 engine, slick-shifting six-speed manual, pleasant blend of ride comfort and fun.

great car - 2004 Acura TL
By steve seminole - September 30 - 10:00 amThis is a great ride. I have 15,000 mile on it now, and I still love it. No problems at it still rides as new. I have had a Lexus, Lincoln LS and a 2003 within the past 5 years, and this car is far superior in every way.

Love this car... - 2004 Acura TL
By bodaswo - September 23 - 10:00 amI had a 2 year old (bought new) Camry XLE v6. Great car, BUT, not fun to drive. It was as the magazines said, safely boring. Saw the TL when it came out and tried to stay away from it. I lost. I drove one and was hooked. Great looks, performance, handling...etc. etc. What else does one need in a car!

Best Acura Ever - 2004 Acura TL
By letvhelms - August 29 - 2:00 amI only have 600 miles on my NEW ACURA 2004 3.2TL, but I already know its the best car I ever have had, (now approaching my 20-25th Car). I have perhaps a years worth of study to learn and apply all the fun (and useful) features of the car. My third Acura, (2001 Legend and 2003 3.2 CL).

2004 Acura TL 3.2 Automatic - 2004 Acura TL
By DCWGOLF - August 22 - 2:00 amI am extremely impressed with my 2004 TL. I also own a 2003 BMW 530 and find myself wanting to spend the most time in the TL. The cabin is larger and more luxurious with a knock out sound system and great straight line performance. The BMW wins on overall handling and solid feel. The bottom line the BMW doesnt come close to justifying the price differential.

Two Thumbs Up! - 2004 Acura TL
By Dilbert - August 22 - 2:00 amIve had my 2004 TL for about a month now and I love it. A major improvement over the 2003 Type S version. A smooth confident ride and plenty of power when you need it. The sound system has to be heard to be believed, its like being in a recording studio. I bought the 6y/100k warranty to cover all the bells and whistles, but probably wont need it with Hondas iron clad reliability. Dont buy one though, I like being one of the few to enjoy this exceptional automobile : )

The Best in the Entry Class - 2004 Acura TL
By ssoni - August 18 - 10:00 am2004 TL is indeed a fun car to drive and own. Better value than BMW and much better interior compared to Infinity G35. One ride and I was hooked to it. Sound system and the navigation are added perks.

A 2009 acura or not? - 2004 Acura TL
By herbh20 - July 17 - 12:18 pmHad a meltdown of ignition wires at 56,000 miles. Dealer repaired car at no charge since I had purchased car and did all scheduled maintenance at dealership. Dealer also said that meltdown was premature. Also supplied free loaner and did additional repairs caused by meltdown. Had two transmissions replaced at no charge on 2002 acura. I also had tires, batteries and mirror replaced. The dealership has been great, but I am getting leery of acura quality.

Great Vehicle - 2004 Acura TL
By Acura Guy - July 16 - 2:00 amIve owned this for just a few weeks, but I am very pleased. It has great acceleration and is very smooth to drive. Great audio system and control layout. Blue lighting on dash is great, and car looks great on the outside. Big improvement over previous TL which looked like a Honda. Very quiet inside even while driving at high speeds. Wonderful car.
