  After almost 18 months my TL has been rock solid. Its quick, rides smoothly and handles precisely. The interior looks great and is very comfortable. No issues with rattles or vibrations at all.For the money its been a terrific deal.

  I had a 96 BMW 328i, then a 2002 Acura TL. I liked the Acura better than the BMW for a lot of reasons. So then I decided to buy another TL and this one is far superior to the first one. I love the new styling, the blue interior lights, it handles the road great, the stereo is unbelievable and is just plain fun to drive. I used to live in a flat area of the country, but I now live in a very hilly area and the 270 hp engine makes the hills a breeze. I will keep buying this car as long as they make it.

  Owned car for 2 years, been to dealer 7 times to fix 12 quality issues. Drivers seat is literally a pain in the rear, due to short cushion and hard contours. Xlnt engine, but handling is only average. Sound system is superb.

  My family has had a number of Acuras and Hondas, the 2004 TL though has been the worst yet. Since owning the car Ive driven 30,000 and Ive had to replace the tires as 20,000 and get new brakes at 25,000. Dont get me wrong the car is great but to have to buy a new set of tires and new brakes before 50,000 miles is not right and it ruins Acuras good reputation.

  I researched tons, narrowed to a G35, 3 series, and TL. TL wins hands down for value--so many options, performance is great and it is solid. Every day I drive the car its fun! Agreed on the factory tires, likely Ill need to replace them when the weather gets bad, outside of that it has everything its a clear choice over the competition. There arent a ton here in DC that I see so its nice to have a unique car that is truly a sleeper. Get the TL.

  Very first acura purchase and I really like it, however trying to be smooth with the clutch has proved a challenge for me and my wife. Hit a small pot hole and bent a front wheel, seems more delicate than it should be. Only have 4500mi but have averaged about 23mpg in mixed driving. Also a lot of people complain about rattles and we have found it is the things in all the compartments, cd, keys, misc. that make all the noise. So far great car.

  Have owned the car for about 15 months and have about 10,500 miles on it. I still get the new car giggles and look forward to driving the car beyond my very short commute. Have had a couple of fit and finish issues that were resolved by the dealer (replaced pasenger seat cover, replaced third brake light cover), have had no other problems. The biggest surprise is that the tires are only expected to last for about 15K miles because of the speed rating are of a softer material (per the dealer). Will likely search for a comparable tire with a lower speed/higher wear rating. I do not have the rattles or

  The 2004 TL was the first car purchase that truly excited me. I actually had to order one and wait 6 weeks. 1 1/2 years later, the leather seats look horrible. The car rattles everywhere! The rims are scared because of poor design. The dealer doesnt seem to care about any of these problems dismissing them as simple wear. This is not the build quality I expect from Acura. My Accord has better leather and a better build. Perhaps Im a victim of an early production model, but Acura really blew it. Im now looking to sell the car.

  Forget the bmw 3 series, infiniti g35, The new Acura TL is the better car by a mile. The best nav. system with voice activation, dolby digit DVD dts 5.1 sound is unreal. stablity system and traction control. and 270 horsepower! IF you do not test drive this car youll be kicking your self later!
