The TL has been completely redesigned for 2004. A 270-horsepower V6 is standard, and both a six-speed manual and a five-speed automatic transmission are available. The level of luxury inside the cabin is up, and driving dynamics are better than ever.

  Could be better - 2004 Acura TL

  Great looking car from the outside and inside... Great luxury features and very enjoyable for a test drive but with issues when you have it long term. Minor rattles, not very comfortable seats (and not good quality leather as it had on the previous model years), and very heavy doors (with not enough "spring" to help you open it). But mainly HORRIBLE turning ration - have to make a 3 way U-turn every time instead of a regular one. Sold it - got 325i instead! :)

  This car is unstable in rain and snow due to poor quality tires. Further, the dealership ignores, or does not acknowledge problems with this automobile. At 15,000 miles the tires are severely worn, as acknowledged by at least one accura mechanic. Alignment is a constant issue, with consequent uneven tread wear, however the dealership refuses to acknowledge this problem

  I have been a Benz guy for a long time but my last one gave me alot of pain. so I said Ill try some else. little did I know that I would fall in love with a Acura TL, it is a little small but you get use to it. It handles like a dream.

  3500 miles of pure driving pleasure - 2004 Acura TL

  Ive had this car for almost 2 mths now and I can honestly say this car is the best car I have driven, (not to mention owned) ever, regardless of price. The performance, luxury, amenities and build quality in this car, especially when you factor the price just dont exist anyhwere else in the car market. I previously owned a 2002 TL type S, which was a nice car, and when I tested this car, surprisingly, I found it to be superior to it in every way. I bought it on the spot. If you are in the market to buy a vehicle in this price range and fail to test this car you will be very sorry indeed!

  Love it - 2004 Acura TL

  Its been two months and I love this car. Im clearly not a true autosnob since the only difference between this car and the RWD vehicles I looked at (Infiniti G35, Cadillac CTS, BMW) is that this car is simply better. Its comfortable, drives well and has the best stereo anywhere. I love XM radio and all cars should have a bluetooth connection for cell phones. My only gripe is that the headlights should be fully automatic.

  Impressive Vehicle - 2004 Acura TL

  As a former BMW and Audi owner, those cars were at the top of my shopping list until I drove the TL. I also drove the Infiniti G35. For the money, the 04 TL is certainly superior to the BMW 5-series and both the Audi A4 and A6 and while the TL is comparably priced with the G35, the TL is a much better car than the G35, especially when comparing build quality. I cant imagine a better car in this price range anywhere. The power, style, workmanship and reliability are all equal to or superior than most higher priced competitors. It is indeed a head turner.

  A complete package - 2004 Acura TL

  This is my 3rd Acura and its the best yet. It possesses outstanding power, comfort and very good performance with excellent fuel economy. Im also having to get used to people looking at/admiring my car -- so Im guessing that others must also think the design is as compelling as I do. While many have said, "if only this car were rear wheel drive...," having the front wheels driven is perfect for me and my snowy winter commutes. My thanks to Acura for an outstandingly well- balanced vehicle at a fair price.

  This car has been the most fun of any Ive ever owned. Navigation solid TEN. Power a solid TEN. Stereo system a TEN. Exhaust sound a solid TEN. A head turner solid TEN. Still getting compliments and looks 6 months after purchased.

  One Awesome Vehicle! - 2004 Acura TL

  You need only drive this car to love it, the 270hp V-6 is very responsive and the handling is excellent. I am a previous owner of Nissan Maximas (91, 96 and 01) and this car blew them away as well as blowing away the 04 Maxima! Im getting around 23mpg in the city going back and forth to work, this along with the comfort and luxury of the vehicle make it the perfect choice.
