Another Great Honda - 2003 Acura TL
By daimler560 - March 8 - 2:00 amGreat car. I had a top line Accord from a few years back, and the Acura goes one step higher--not much, but its just a little better. More power in the motor, but smooth as usual. Awesome car for the price!

Remarkable 2003 TL Type S - 2003 Acura TL
By fletch2645 - March 8 - 2:00 amI just took delivery on my new 2003 TL Type S W/Navigation 2 weeks ago and couldnt be happier. This is one fine automobile. The ride is a little firmer than the 1998 Camry LE V-6 that I owned, but I cant believe the overall quality of the car. I made an initial 400 mile trip in it upon delivery and got 27 MPG. Ohhh the power and acceleration!!!!!! Best value on the market. I purchased gold emblem package, nose bra, tinted windows, trunk tray, splash guards, and wheel locks and still paid $3000 under MSRP (before taxes and license) with 2.9% financing. I did have to pay a $195 dealer doc fee which was non- negeotiable, but the final price was $30,900.

My 2003 TL-S - 2003 Acura TL
By Dennis - February 25 - 3:22 pmI have owned the 2003 TL-S for the last 2 years. I added comtech exhaust, headers and icebox. It easily has 305 hp. This car is fun, quick and a thrill to drive. Im an old man who likes my car to get up and go when I want it to. I have had a problem free experience with my Acura. I love it.

Excellent Choice - 2003 Acura TL
By bigragu - February 25 - 12:33 pmI made the purchase after looking at Accord and Maxima. Someone told me to check out TL. I drove the Type-S and purchased it immediately. I very reliable car. Would purchase again in a second.Took to dealer for oil change, they noticed the tranny recall, gave me a loaner, and was all completed painlessly in a day.

Beemer Beater? - 2003 Acura TL
By Paca - February 24 - 3:58 pmMy wife and I have been driving acuras for the past 12 years. I still own my 98 3.0CL Coupe (130K miles) and my wife still has her 99 Intgr Vtech (83K miles). Just bought 03 TL Type-S for weekend and leisure use ONLY. Was thinking about purchasing a 02! BMW 530i, with a price tag of 33K and a much slower 0-60, it was a no brainer. I laugh every time I see a 525,528, or 530 Beemer at a red light that wants to challenge my Type-S. Think they need to do a little more homework and purchase that pricey 540? My Type-S so far is slick, smooth, and fast. Took it in for routine svc and got a 05 loaner, WOW! Cornering, stopping and hiccup free acceleration! Definitely a Beemer Beater.

Overall a Good Deal - 2003 Acura TL
By David - February 18 - 2:07 amIll be returning this car in a few days after 70,000+ miles. I enjoyed it very much. A few problems which were unexpected for a Honda product. Rearview mirror fell off in the first week. Had a wheel bearing go out within the 1st yr. And just got a new transmission due to the recall. All problems were taken care of by the dealer. Given that, I really liked the way the car drove and how comfortable it was. I needed something with a little room, especially in the rear seat and this was better than all comparable vehicles. All in all a good value. Now I have a 2005.

great car - 2003 Acura TL
By malibu matt - February 18 - 2:00 amI havde only had the car for about a month but I am very satisfied. I was shocked to hear about people complaining about the rattles and braking problems. I found just the opposite, this car is rock solid with no rattles (so far). Ive heard alot of discussion comparing this car with german made vehicles but lets get serious, you cant even touch one of those "other cars" for the same price. This is alot of car for the money.

A good value - 2003 Acura TL
By wrx_tester - February 15 - 2:00 amCar does accelerate well but transmission kickdown in both auto and automanual is not at all smooth. RPM at 75mph is less than 2000 which helps limit engine noise. The stereo is not up to snuff vs. German brands. Build quality esp. around the bumpers was questionable. Give them a push and they might fall off. Could use 7" wheels instead of 6.5".
