I could drive this car forever, literally! - 2004 Acura TL

I bought this car with over 100k on it while in college and I am still in love with it. 12 years later this car still gets complemented and random people feel the need to try and race me. Unfortunately a few days ago I totaled my car (not racing). Its completely destroyed but I walked away with just a few bruises. I absolutely love this car due to its power, style, and now the safety of the car. As replacement Ill be getting another TL only newer. Buy Acura, Love Acura!

WOW, What a change - 2004 Acura TL
By bg1006 - January 14 - 2:00 amJust picked up my new TL last week - traded in a 2000 TL. What a difference! The improvements are vast, more power, more style (huge improvement here - the car looks mean), great stereo and very upscale interior. Acura definitely meant to move the TL up a class or two - mission accomplished. The 10% increase in price is justified and worth every cent.

AWESOME - 2004 Acura TL
By Chris - January 11 - 5:02 pmI have loved this car since day one. I feel it is the best looking car on the road. It is also very spacious on the inside. I am 64" and weigh 280 pounds and am very comfortable driving the car. The performance is also awesome. The car is truly fun to drive. The only complaints I had about the car are the premature tire wear on the OEM brigestone tires (lasted only 23k miles), and the original battery and brakes needed replaced at 30k. Also, the leather on the front seats is fairly cheap and wears quickly. Other than that, the car is truly remarkable and fun to drive for the price.

Still thrilled - 2004 Acura TL
By Almost three years - January 11 - 2:55 pmAlmost three years old, only 20500 miles. Still love the car. Great power, great handling, great value. Still look at european alternatives and am not impressed with the value proposition. Put on a new set of Avon tires and am pleased. Camel interior showing some wear and the aluminum trim has dings near where the seat belt buckles, otherwise looks great. Has been trouble free except for fit and finish issues (seat cover, cover on third brake light) that were taken care of by dealer within the first 6 months of ownership.

By Drake1953 - January 7 - 2:00 amI am highly frustrated about the Bridgestone Turanza EL-42 tires that come stock on this car. They flat spot when the car sits, especially in cold weather. Then its "thump, thump thump.....lots of vibration all the time, even after they warm-up. Ive made four trips to my dealer, and all four tires have been carefully balanced twice. Acura of Dayton has given up on this and refuses to do anything about the problem. Acura corporate acknowledges there is a problem and says the complaints are coming from all over.

By tm25964e - January 7 - 2:00 amThis is the most fun to drive car that I have ever own or driven. Of cource I have yet to drive a ferrari. But I can tell you that this car has that thing. You know that thing that makes your head go back and your heart go out of control. I love it !!!! Its like when your a child and get that really kool bike and you cant wait to get home from school to ride it. The first week That I owned it I could not decide if I wanted to call out sick for the day to drive it around or if I should just call out all week. Well I hope you have as much fun with yours as I do with mine.

By Hayward, CA - January 3 - 10:00 amThe sound system, navigation, and interior are superb, but best of all its has all the quality you would expect from an Acura/Honda. Almost bought the BMW 530, for 15k more with options that come standard on the TL and a mere 225 hp.

By AAARGH - December 28 - 10:00 amIve had my TL for 3 months. So far, I love it! It is by far the best mix of performance, styling, and comfort. I found the G35 and BMW to perform better, but gave up a lot in comfort, size, and interior styling. They were more expensive when adding similar options to what the TL has standard. The interior of the TL is gorgeous. As with any Honda made vehicle, the ergonomics are almost perfect. The only disappointment is the use of fake wood. It still looks good though. Perhaps the only real problem I have is rattles and creaks. This seems to be common with the 04 TL. I would have thought Honda would have done a better job with this.

By zippytippy - December 28 - 10:00 amThis car should have been rear or AWD. Its got tons of power to spare but cant use it. An TL AWD version would make BMW 3__xi series a tough sell.
