New TL - 2004 Acura TL
By bjr1144 - June 10 - 2:00 amThe car is very comfortable to drive, extremely quieton the road. The 3.2 engine coupled with the Honda suspension gives the car the ride and response of a much more expensive vehicle. The manual feature of the five speed automatic adds even more response and sport car feel. The attention to details and quality that is very high, I have not found or encountered a problem with the car. As you are travelintg, the DVD sound system in this car makes it difficult to believe you are not sitting in your home. Top styling, high quality, great engineering combine to make this an extremely enjoyable car to own.

By jons04tl - June 10 - 2:00 amIf you are looking for a sedan that is fun to drive, has great looks, and can keep up with the best of them, then this is the car you are looking for. This is the most fun I have had driving in a long time. There is no comparison between my wifes 2002 325xi and the TL. My kids love the car and are already fighting over who is going to get it as their first car. I am constantly getting compliments about the car. The 5 speed automatic is awesome. I will put it up against the the 6-spede any day. You have plenty of engine control with the automatic in the auto manual mode.

Second only to my 01 S2000 - 2004 Acura TL
By TimTheFoolMan - May 27 - 10:34 amThis is a car for my wife, coming from an 03 Mountaineer. My best friend (certifiable performance guy) asked, "How did you talk your wife into getting this?" I didnt have to. She drove one and loved it right away. Prior to this car, my favorite sedan was a 97 Maxima. Having taken this on a short trip and driven it around town a fair amount, Im no longer comparing other sedans to the Maxima I compare them to the TL. The compromise of FWD will put off some performance enthusiasts, but the added space was worth it for me. Given the power, Im surprised how well this FWD design works, and how little torque steer is present. I cant imagine one car that would appeal more to the two of us.

Dont think Ill ever leave Honda - 2004 Acura TL
By DexDiamonds - April 4 - 12:01 pmI just purchased my TL certified preowned (needed the security) and havent stopped smiling everytime I look at the car. It really moves, blinding acceleration between 30-50 and 70-110. I raced a the other car I was strongly considering (G35 coupe) and it seems there is no difference in performance and speed. And it great to just cruise in (a lil bumpy for the performance trade off). It has everything one could want (performance, reliability, luxury, and looks) at a price easy to appreciate. I want to modified the engine a little but dont want to void my warranty :-(

Finally Impressed - 2004 Acura TL
By movinup - April 2 - 1:10 amAfter having driven a full-size 4 door pickup for the last 5 years and hoping to move into a stepdown vehicle, I agreed to purchase my 2004 Acura TL. Having owned 2 Acuras in the past, I knew the reliability was going to be in place. Approaching the car from the outside, the car screams seriousness, class, and carries an appeal to people across the board. The interior is well put together, offering a quiet ride at all speeds. Nothing compares to being in the cockpit of the TL at night, with the glow of blue from the guage cluster along with the comliment of a subtile white from the center pillar. Its a car that runs great and is great to be seen in. In this car, youve arrived!

Best in its Class - 2004 Acura TL
By mongoose67 - March 23 - 2:00 amI was totally impressed with Acuras new TL before I bought one and my feelings for it get stronger each day. It has everything youd want in a mid- range luxury sedan...and more! For a price of $34,650 (w/navi), youre actually getting a car more similar to the BMW 530i than the 330i, but for a LOT less. Dont just take my word for it, go test drive one ASAP!

By Rob R. - March 16 - 11:05 amI have a difficult time, in this market, finding a car to replace my TL. I am thinking of upgrading to a more luxurious sport sedan but I cannot find anything in the current choices that comes anywhere near the product for the money. This is especially true when you consider the reliability and possible maintenance costs based on other car makers track records. This car has had no major problems (other than some issues intially with the XM receiver-it was new at the time) in the roughly 4 years and 70,000 miles Ive owned it. It has taken some hard driving and has all the ammenities for longer trips.
