Other than a new color, Redondo Red Pearl, there are no changes to the RSX in its sophomore year. Available from the dealer, however, is a new "Factory Performance" package that adds high-performance suspension components, better brakes, larger wheels and tires and a body kit.
- High-revving Type-S engine, plenty of standard equipment, nimble handling.
- Modest torque output, tight rear-seat headroom.

By jtwcol - May 19 - 2:00 amI test drove the Acura RSX-S, Mini Cooper, VW GTI (1.8 & VVR)& Subaru WRX. Each car had its own set of positives and negatives. I felt the best vehicle is the RSX. It is a good looking car, has gobs of power, handles very well and is built better then any car I have ever driven. My decision fell to either the GTI 1.8 or the RSX, in the end, I could not ignore the top notch quality and value of the RSX Type S.

By SPeedFreak S - May 19 - 2:00 amI am 16 and i purchased this as my first car. I was looking at the Lexus IS300 but in the end i decided to go for pure performance. This car is just that. The shifiting is great, it looks like a ferrari from the back, and has a beautiful interior. Its price is also excellent. This car is about 5 thousand dollars less, than it probably should be. Great Value, Great Car.

By Hectoman1 - May 14 - 2:00 amI love driving a car that is uncommon. Was going to get a Civic or an Accord like everyone else, but thought I deserved better. This is a fun car. People check it out at the stop lights. Only 3 minor complaints: Stereo, Armrests, and Seat Comfort could be better.

It has the most amazing pickup which I can always feel as I can see the cars left behind when I take off . By Beltway Driver - February 23 - 8:42 amI bought my RSX Type-S in September 2003 as a commuting car for a daily drive around the Washington beltway, and its helped me survive the areas brutal driving conditions in style. The car is a great value in purchase price, in gas mileage and in the low operating costs/perfect reliability. At the same time I still get a seat-of-the pants thrill every time I rev it up to merge onto the highway or whip around a curve. I looked at many other cars before buying none compared in style and driving pleasure in this price range. Road noise and stiff seats are a small tradeoff Im happy to make for this much sport-driving pleasure.

By superman8998 - February 18 - 2:00 amgreat car to drive on the weekends or for everyday use. it works with you when you want to drive easy and the i- vtec hits hard when you want to smoke the rest. for those people out there complaining about how bad it is on gas, go by a civic!!! you cant expect to get all that power and not give up on a little bit of gas. by the way, i think it gets great gas mileage.
