Overview & Reviews
The Acura RDX is a small luxury crossover SUV with two rows of seats. The RDX has never been a bona fide class leader in performance or luxury, but like many Acuras, it's a well-rounded vehicle with numerous strengths. In reviews, we've praised various RDX models for their quick acceleration, confident highway cruising demeanor and composed handling. We've found the RDX's cabin to be both well-constructed and reasonably spacious, with exceptionally supportive front seats to boot. The RDX also enjoys a strong reputation for overall quality and reliability.
If you're shopping for an RDX, you'll find early models with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, standard all-wheel drive and unusually sporty handling. Later versions of the Acura RDX stand out for their added refinement, power and interior space, and there's also a front-wheel-drive version aimed at buyers in milder climates. Unlike some rivals, the RDX keeps shoppers' lives simple with a generously equipped base model and a straightforward, package-based options structure.

I love this car!! - 2008 Acura RDX
By sfduckie - January 2 - 12:59 pmIve never owned an Acura before but Im now a huge fan! The RDX is fun to drive, has great visibility, and the base model comes with absolutely everything youd want (CD, bluetooth, MP3 hookup, XM radio free for 3 months, moonroof, seat warmers, etc). Also, the driver interface (at least on the base model) is intuitive and uncluttered. It feels like they really have the driver in mind. I highly recommend this car! Im so happy I bought it!

Love It !! - 2007 Acura RDX
By Tami - January 1 - 12:33 amLove the RDX/ Tech Package. Ive had the car for a month now and love driving it!! BUT Im getting really bad gas mileage 12.5 mpg in the city really bad at average speed of 14 mph. Other than the poor gas mileage I love everything else about the SUV.

Nice car to have - 2008 Acura RDX
By czechmate - December 10 - 4:58 pmI only have a few hundred miles on it. It is well made with nice internals and a few bugs. Complicated not-so-friendly navigation system. One must learn the exact commands (over 100 of them) to handle it safely and efficiently while driving. There is information missing on streets that have been in existence for many (7) years. If that is to be programmed one needs to look up MAP-IT beforehand and find the major intersection.. The engine require synthetic MOBIL-1 oil, and a higher octane gasoline. Trunk is large enough but be prepared to purchase the cargo net.

Wow! - 2008 Acura RDX
By VB - December 10 - 12:09 pmNever did a review before, but had to comment on my new ride. Overall this car is terrific. I find a new feature I love every day. I am on my 5th tank of gas and am getting 21.8 mpg. Traded an 03 Aviator that never got better than 16, so Im thrilled. Looks good, feels good, drives good. Never owned a 4 cyl. before. Cant believe the pick up. Plenty of power when you need it. Love it! Love it!

Repeat Acura customer for a reason - 2008 Acura RDX
By Ellen Mansour - December 5 - 11:52 pmCant beat Acura for reliability, safety and stability on the road. The technology package is easy to use, the sound system is impressive and it drives like a dream. I couldnt be happier.

Perfect size. Great fun. - 2008 Acura RDX
By nomorecivicsi02 - November 30 - 9:19 pmI needed a vehicle to replace my 2002 civic Si. The first time I drove the RDX I knew I wanted one. This thing is as much fun to drive as my Si. If youre looking for a small, quick, great handling SUV with some luxury, this is the vehicle for you.

Great Ride - 2007 Acura RDX
By Henry FL1 - November 30 - 7:45 pmOther than gas mileage, its a fun car to drive. Notice how I said "car" - it does not drive like a SUV at all. I considered the Honda CRV loaded, but it lacked some-like no useable armrest etc.

In crossover segment, hard to beat - 2008 Acura RDX
By Jeremy C - November 24 - 1:34 pmFaster and less expensive than the BMW X3, the Acura RDX is about as good as it gets in this segment. It drives like a sports sedan and has plenty of storage. If youre looking at the Murano, you should check out the RDX as well. Its faster and a lot nicer, for only a few thousand dollars more. The SH All Wheel Drive makes accelerating out of a corner nice as well. Overall, Id give it a 9.5 / 10.

Not for the daily commuter - 2007 Acura RDX
By JimTex - November 18 - 10:23 pmWe bought this car knowing that fuel mileage was not its strong point, but have averaged about 19 mpg (mostly city). My wife loves this vehicle because it is incredibly responsive and handles as well as the BMW we traded in. The seating position is nice and high, but without the huge vehicle to go along with it.
