This Year's Model Updates:

Carpeted floor mats are newly standard, and an emergency trunk release is added to the inside of the sedan's cargo area. Four new colors round out the changes for 2001, Integra's final year before an all-new model debuts for 2002.

Pros:
  • Type R model for the track, GS-R model for daily driving, hatchback utility, frugal with fuel, excellent reliability and resale value.
Cons:
  • Aged dash design, creaky structure, poor road and wind isolation, funky styling.

This car has been a great buy. Its an enthusists vehicle. It handles great and has enough power to silence the critics. It brings fun back to everyday driving with its simple but comfortable interior. Its exterior is on of thoes designs that never dies due to age. I love this car and would recomend it to any one looking for more fun in the everyday commute but also looking to drive thoes country roads with the windows and sunroof open on saterday mornings. ~Rob~

The car handles like a dream, it screams all the way to 8.5k and loves every minute of it. Ive owned this car for almost 3 years now. Ive driven it across the country numerous times and Ive averaged almost 2,000 miles per month. I have to say that no other car offers the performance, comfort, ability and practicality of the Type R. Theres not a thing I would change about it.

I love the car, but like a lot of people, feel this thing needs a sixth gear. Maybe a little tourque would be nice

  • Type R awesome if willing to rev! - 2001 Acura Integra

This is a great car. There is very little Horsepower/Torque below the 5700 vtec changeover, so be ready to rev the engine like a motorcycle. Handling is the best I have ever seen in a front wheel drive, or any car for that matter (under $50k). Balance is near perfect, the limited slip is excellent.

I bought this car a little over 2 years ago and have averaged over 20k miles per year. Great fun to drive once you adjust to the high rev range. Good build quality (only one minor problem with the rear seats). I beat the crap out of it on a regular basis and it always comes back for more.

  • Since 2001 - 2001 Acura Integra

Great sports car. I have had it for more than 2 years. Great car for Street driving . Best performance in Higher RPMs. Not for snow , not for comfort, you feel every bump on the road. Not a family car. Its for people who are in need for speed.

  • Excellent sports car for the price - 2001 Acura Integra

This car is fun to drive, not only is it quick, but it can handle like you would not believe. I have had absolutely no problems with my GSR, the only time I work on it is when Im adding performance modifications to it.
