This Year's Model Updates:

This is the Celica's final year of production. For 2005, the cassette player is no longer standard, though it is still available as an option with the JBL premium audio system on the GT-S.

Pros:
  • Rev-happy engine in the GT-S, ultraprecise steering, razor-sharp handling and strong brakes make for a thrill ride in the canyons.
Cons:
  • Mediocre interior materials, difficult-to-master GT-S six-speed shifter, short features list, poor rearward visibility.

  • The best car in the world!!! - 2005 Toyota Celica

I love my Toyota Celica GTS. I think that its the best car I have ever had and I have had a lot. The Celica is like no other car i have ever seen. The Celica looks like a high price car but it isnt!! I have no problems with the car, I love everything about it.

My Toyota Celica is a dream come true. The car is simply a blast to drive. I own a GT (the cheaper edition) and have had plenty of fun zipping around corners and speeding through country roads. The handling is amazing, the speed is good, and the best part is the looks. The Celica looks like a race car of the 21st century. Test drive this car and Im sure youll be impressed. Its the best of the sports cars in my opinion, and Im sad to see it retire.

Great car for younger people. This was my first new car and i have been very impressed with it. Fairly large trunk space for such a small car. There is no room in the back seat whatsoever. Overall, I am very satisfied with my car.

I liked the toyota celica because it physically looks great and it runs very well. I paid 15000 for mine and it was worth every bit of money i paid for it. My friends envy tha very car that sits in my driveway and i love it.

  • Whata CAR!!!!! - 2005 Toyota Celica

Ok, I understand this is a labeled "sports car" and it does lack HP, however it is as light as a feather baby! And I love the gas I get, this thing feels like a sport hybrid... hmmm now theres an idea. Yah here that Toyota!!! Think about it. Anyways I love this car and I am extremely sad to see it leave the U.S. grounds, personally I think its a dumb idea to ditch this car at the time of high gas prices, and this one leads the sport cars on mpg. The steering is very presise, and the storage is very practable. Overall, great car!

  • Adventures Car Needing Interior Design - 2005 Toyota Celica

Overall the exterior is daring and smooth line look of a sports car worth more than its price tag. The interior is the biggest draw back, cheap plastic sorrounds the driver taking away some its glamour. Accelaration is weak, but the turns are amazing. This 7th generation Celica is by far the best in its class but leaves ample room for future performance and quality improvements.

  • Fun car!!! - 2005 Toyota Celica

This is a fun car! I have had so much fun driving this car up and down Californias famous Highway 1 (aka the Pacific Coast Highway) I cant begin to tell you. I also use it as a daily commuter, with a manual transmission, and it is a head-turner, even after having it for some time. The design is distinctive and cohesive; some sporty cars look like they have been pieced together from a lot of different designs. The Celica looks like one car, front to back. If you love to drive, youll love this car!

My first was a 91 Celi Conv. Sold it in 2003 and bought a new one. Celi generally stays within the zip code, but when we go - we are off for a long ride. I get a bit more than 30mpg in town and on the road close to 36 if shes just been tuned and my foot doesnt get heavy. Never had a mechanical problem with either Celica. So with 14 years and 150,000 miles experience, perhaps Im an expert.
