before this purchase we owned a 2000 toyata corolla. A great car but the scion xa is roomier and eaiser to get in and out of, as well as handles so well.

I bought this for the price and the MPG. I needed an inexpensive ride for 94 miles a day. I was/am surprised at how much I like it. Its got pretty good pick up for a 1.5L 4 cyl. I really cant comment on the reliabilty and quality yet. Ask me in 100,000 miles and if its still running, I got my moneys worth. Funny to look at but when youre on the inside of it, who cares what the outside looks like. And its loaded for the price. Only option was floor mats for me. It is probably the most economical car I ever bought.

In the four months Ive had my Scion xA it has been very enjoyable. I have been averaging 34 mpg in a mix of city and highway driving. Im 64" and have a surprising amount of room inside. I definitely am happy that I bought it. It makes a great commuter car, but still truns some heads.

  • Best Car Ive have Purchased - 2005 Scion xA

It rides very smoothly. I love the comfort. Im a big guy and I have plenty of leg room. The only thing that bothers me about this car is that the rear view vision is a little impaired with the head rest design of the back seats. I would love to have a moonroof as well. The colors are great. I love it for many reasons, it is economical, looks great, and feels wonderful. I want to buy a second one.

I bought this to be a commuter car to and from work 70 miles a day and I have never regretted my decision. This is a great car. I have driven it long distance a couple of times and the ride is comfortable. You will be amazed on how much you can pack in the car 1,2, or none of the seats folded down. I already have put 88K on it, and look forward to the next 88K. I still love how small it is because its so much easier and fun to weave thru traffic.

  • Shoe shaped fun! - 2005 Scion xA

The Scion I bought was in the Polar white, and I got this little bad boy fully loaded. Sure the dealership was a little "snooty" but I got all the info and help I needed. The Scion xA did it for me. The MPG is great and the interior is quite comfortable althoug it can use a arm rest in the middle console. The stereo sounds good but it needs cross-overs badly. The paint could easily use the "clearcoat" protection paint, and there is a little road noise here and there but NO wind noise. Amen for that. Small fun and very econimical this is a grea car. It can use a little bit more room in the back though.

Ive only had this car for a few months, but so far I love it. I drive hard, I average about 75-80 mph on the highway and Im quick off the lights in town, and Im getting an average MPG of 32 between city and highway. Its fun to drive and relativity quick. I have noticed when the temp gets down around 0 f. it needs the heater on full most of the time to stay warm inside so if you live in an area where that temp is typical, youll want to consider that. But even on the coldest mornings it has no trouble starting up. The sound system in mine is real nise as well, good solid bass and clear highs with great volume for a stock unit. I have no problem recomending this car!

  • Downsized - 2005 Scion xA

Downsized from a Mini Van and thought Id miss my Soccer Mom driving platform, but I dont. Bought Absolutely Red Edition and get many looks and positive comments. GoCart like handling, decent power, roomy interior despite initial impressions, excellent service at dealership. Buying experience wonderful. Decided on xA, went with the Toyota financing, drove away in just under 1.5 hours! Must admit, credit history very clean, but come on, I bought it over a long lunch! Will add the Keyless Entry in May. Love it and considering a 2nd Scion (Tc) this summer.

This car has been great to me. And I am great to it. The Gas cap cover cable went the first year and Toyota had to replace something in the motor under the warranty but other than those two things this car has been worth every cent I paid for it. I thought it was an excellent deal when I bought it too. Got a bunch of nice options for really not much cash extra that really improves the looks and performance. Its good in the snow with the right tires as long as you drive at a safe speed and it will get up and go when I need it to. I love this car man!
