  • big bang for the buck - 2005 Scion TC

I just sold my 1998 1.8 Audi Quattro. Bought the car new and had an engine management chip put in. Though it was fun to drive, I had mucho problems, turbo, brakes, broken timing belt, and more. My Tc is as much fun, even with automatic, and my guess is the build quality will far exceed the Audi. Fit and finish is great. The standard features and solid feeling, cant be beat and a dealer that rally knew his product. Im having a blast. At 66, who says the car is only for kids?

The Scion tC is just a great vehicle for the money. If you want speed and think about other cars that are faster, stop thinkin, buy the tC, throw a turbo in it and you will have a 12.12 1/4 mile time (w/slicks). This is an extremely beautifyl car. Its awesome!

Scion TC is superb. Handles great, drives nice and looks awesome.I have a flint mica TC with extra air bags added...thats all! Only $17,400. I use it to go to work and around town. I tried for a month to find a better car for the money and could not find one. Acura...no, Volvo...no, Audi...no, VW...yeah right. I even looked at Mercedes but decided to save the cash and put it in my daughters college fund. Scion supposedly markets to generation Y. Silly Scion... Believe me, this car is not just for kids.(I am 38). If you want a fancy car buy a mercedes, but be prepared to spend a lot more. The only drawback is once word gets out, expect these cars to be everywhere.

I was looking at all coupes including Audi TT, 350Z, G35, etc. Needed combination of reasonable cargo, fun drive, fuel economy, style, and traction. The tc was lowest on style and traction, but won....., and I could have bought two for the price of the other cars. The car is loaded with goodies and fun to drive. The stick is fun, but the automatic would be boring and render the car to "just like any other compact". My fuel economy is 23 in town and 30 on the highway. Its basically hard to complain about the car, but there are some annoying flaws. The double press "all unlock" key feature is poorly designed. The roof posts badly obstruct critical vision, front and back(a surprise to me

I did not believe the car was going to be so well put together. I heard about all the features and looked at the car and wondered why the price was so low. What the catch was. Well,I bought it and I love it. I still dont understand why it is so under priced but Im not complaining. Bottom line, if you want a car with the same looks and features as the TC, it will set you back at least 22K. Everyone that has seen my car and driven in it thinks I paid Lexus prices for it. I dont blame them. It truly feels like a luxury car.

One of the first to own one in St Louis, feels really good to have people looking and ask what it is. The Flint Mica is awesome! It has suprising response although a little slower than Id like changing from first to second when getting on the highway, but makes up for it when it does shift. (Still learning how to play with my metallic baby!) Put over 500 hundred miles on it the first week! Really fun to drive, GOOD PRICE!!! GREAT PACKAGE!!!

Went to Toyota thinking of buying a Solara. When I saw the Scion, I fell in love with it. Drives beautifully. Great on gas mileage. Im very happy with the car. Great gas mileage. For the price, its worth taking a look at it. Im very happy I went with the Scion.

I looked into every car in my price range (under 20k.) This car was THE ONLY car that had everything that I wanted and needed. Sunroof/ Moonroof is awesome. The car has a great feel, good power. Its a fun, practical car. People are very surprised that I paid so little for such a great car. All in all I adore my car and am extremely proud of my purchase. I highly recommend this car to anyone in the market.
