This Year's Model Updates:

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class lineup sees several changes for 2010. The E-Class sedan has been redesigned -- highlights include revised styling, a higher-quality interior and a lower base price. Also, a new coupe body style (it replaces the previous CLK-Class) joins the roster. Lastly, the previously available wagon body style and diesel-fueled V6 engine option have been discontinued, but they are expected to return to the lineup at a later date.

Pros:
  • Superb ride and handling balance, potent engines, extensive array of luxury- and safety-oriented features, first-class cabin appointments, spacious interior.
Cons:
  • COMAND interface is occasionally fussy to use, controversial exterior styling.

We have just had this care a couple of days but I can tell all it is an amazing car. On the way to work today it felt like I was gliding. It truly is out of this world. I am not real techie, but this car is very easy to drive and learn the tech.

  • Dont run the EClass through a carwash - 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

Was so excited to finally get our E350! We saw the steel gray color and the new body design and loved it! Still looked sporty enough for us! Was totally panicking when after running it through the car wash, the blower went out. And then the blower went out again. Was told by a dealership, not the dealership where we purchased the vehicle, that you need to shut off the heat and air conditioner when running the EClass through a car wash. This is ridiculous and Ive never heard of such nonsense. Weve owned several cars of many different makes and models and have never had a blower go out while running it through a car wash.

Have a new E550 coupe with Premium 2 package. This is a major upgrade from my GS430. The car handles like a sports car in sport mode. Can immediately tell the changes in injection/shift points as well as suspension stiffening. The new tan color interior is awesome! Seats are phenomenal. Trying to master the Command system--getting better at it each day. I was looking at the Lexus460,the BMW5series and the Jaguar XF premium. Drove them all and chose this coupe. Cost less and is quicker. Not bad on the eyes either. Just test drive the competition and then drive the E550 coupe. And no, I dont work for MB. Jon C./Tulsa

  • LOVE THIS CAR! - 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

This is the first time I have bought a MB. We were looking for a Coupe. We tried the 335, too small. Drove a A5. It was OK, but just OK. Then we walked into a MB Dealer. They had just received their first 10 Coupe that day. We loved it! Over the next 2 weeks, we took 3 test drives and thought it was great. We now have it 2 weeks and love it more. Car drives great. Love the Interior and Exterior. The Sound System is unbelievable. We do get looks from people and have been told that it is just beautiful. We made the right decision.

  • The Best Mercedes-Benz Ever!!! - 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

I just bought my 2010 E350 Sedan, sport package with P1 package, Panoramic sunroof and the AMG Sport Wheels, I owned MB E class cars since 1975, and however, the 2010 is the best ever build in term of design, performance, quality, beauty, curb appeal, technology and fun to drive. In summary, this is unbelievable car.

stunning acceleration, very good handling, comfortable and luxurious interior, under-cover and stealthy supercar

  • So far, very pleased - 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
    By -

So far the E-350 has performed above my expectations. The handling and power is matched well to the cars size. The interior design, fit and finish are superb. The rear seat room is far superior to the C-300 and close to the S-550. The command control system was eazier to learn than I expected.

  • Best Car in its class - 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

I was trying to decide between the Lexus, BMW. I hadnt really ever considered buying a MB until I test drove the new E550. WOW! This is by far the best driving car in its class. In my opinion, its a significantly better vehicle than the 5-series or the Lexus equivalent. Not to mention the fact that you can get the all wheel drive feature in the E550. Great performance and good in the snow! Perfect for me here in CO. Take one out and drive it. You wont be disappointed.

  • Beautiful Car - 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

Just leased a E350. This is one great looking car. Has a great feel both around town and on the highway. Everyone seems to look and admire the car. Better car than the Audi 5. Home run for Mercedes.

  • Blind Side Assist - 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

Do not waste your money on this option it does not work.Mercedes new this because they put in their manual a warning about what this option would not do. The buyer does not get a chance to read the manual before buying. It says speeds exceeding your vehicle speed will not be detected. It also says it will only detect (10) feet off of your rear bumper. I know for a fact it will not pickup 10 sometimes. This thing could get someone killed if they dont read the manual before trying to use the alert. The front head restraints will not go all the way down.Talked to dealer ,they said that is the way it was designed. They are other small items that needs to be corrected
