  • Good overall - 2016 Mazda CX-5

I traded in my 2015 Mazda Touring with Technology package for this GT AWD and couldnt be happier. I am a college student in Illinois and AWD gives me better confidence in snow, but I really wish there could be a way I can manually turn on the AWD. This car is also good for student, I can turn the car into a bed if I fold down the rear seats. The biggest improvement is the infotainment system and it does make a big difference. The new wheels look great. In general, I found the look very attractive and the gas milage to be great. The 2016 model seems to be more solidly built, as the interior plastic is better assembled, whereas the plastic in my 2015 fall off within weeks.

Replaced my 2013 Mazda CX-5 GT for the new 2016 CX-5 GT model. The latest model is a HUGE improvement over the old model. Interior feels high class with soft touch materials throughout the cabin. I got the Titanium Grey with White Leather interior and this combination is amazing, makes you feel like you are in a higher class vehicle. All the tech features such as lane departure and radar/lasers are a nice improvement and work great. The entertainment touch screen system is higher resolution and much faster and more intuitive to use. Also the wipers are dead silent in this car. The Bose speaker system is clear with high bass. Overall, its sound proofing is noticeable over the old model.

  • Mostly makes me smile - 2016 Mazda CX-5

I traded in a new competitor C-SUV recently for the Mazda GT and overall I am happy with the purchase. It makes me eager to drive it! The exterior styling and color (sould red) are very sexy looking (comapred to my previous crossover SUV), the interior is clean, and elegant feeling. The driving experience is so much more engaging and fun - great handling, great braking, decent acceleration. The tech gadgets all work well, including the infotainment system.
