vehicle technology has changed alot in the past 10 years, even the past 5. I love the near luxury, smooth ride, low road noise, and all the features that make this car a great vehicle to drive. I got in at the 2.9% promotion, with the sticker price (was looking at under 30K range) this car was a no brainer, and turned out to be a great deal, a little higher down payment than Id like, but worked out to less than $500/mo. Ive had the car less than a week, and just hit a hundred miles, every day I enjoy driving this vehicle more and more. This vehicle line, the infinity g35 series is going to be a very popular car when word gets around.

Just traded my Lexus IS 300 in for a G 35 Coupe. All I can say is WOW! The G 35 has all the performance that the IS lacked.......acceleration, tight precise handling and responsiveness. Its interior is roomy and comfortable with excellent supportive seats. The exhaust note is incredible! I actually find myself turning down the very good Bose stereo just to listen to the engine! This car is also a head turner. I almost feel a bit embarrassed driving this car as I see eyes following the car as it drives by.

  • A Fun Ride - 2004 Infiniti G35

What a fun car to drive. I have the upgraded performance package and it is worth it. The handling is precise and comfortable. Power and torque are good, although I would like more lower end torque. The brakes are a little touchier than what I’m use to. I’m finding that the gas mileage is good in both the city and on the highway. I get great comments about the looks of the car. The car is fast and the engine is capable of getting almost all of the speedometer. This was a great buy for me.

It came down to the Infiniti G35, Nissan Maxima/Altima, Subaru Legacy GT, Pontiac Grand prix GTP, or Mazda RX8. I had to have an automatic with 4 doors due to business and marriage. I test drove the RX8, maxima, altima, and G35. The RX8 was fun but the engine just didnt do it for me with the auto so I drove the max and altima. I enjoyed both cars. The Altima(3.5l) pulled hard but the interior was sub par. The max was a luxurious vehicle but the torque steer was too much. The G35 ran hard and firm. The trick is to get all of your research done before hand and bring it with you. I was able to get the 04 G35 with prem/sport/aero/trk mats/spl grds for 31500

This is a great car! Fun to drive and looks great! Only bone I have is the power seat controls, they are not in the greatest place (on the rt.side top of seat) Makes the seat somewhat unconfortable for the less than thin driver! Other than that I love it!!!

  • g35 coupe - dream come true - 2004 Infiniti G35

This was more car than I dreamed of. I have more than I have ever wanted from a car. It has acceleration, handling, luxury, sound, and a sweet exhaust note. The manual and clutch is all sport.

Brakes are a disaster. Why does Infiniti cover brakmes for replascement only up to 36,000 miles if they are design defective as they admit? They should be covered for the life of the car. Drop down window allows rain and snow to soak the seat when you open the door.Storage space is poor.

  • Tremendously fun, rediculously thirsty - 2004 Infiniti G35

Funnest and sexiest car Ive ever driven. However, the price you pay is 13-15 MPG, and I dont drive heavy- footed at all. My drive to work is 2/3 highway and 1/3 surface roads, and I can barely squeeze 220 miles out of a 15 gallon tank of premium unleaded. I wonder if anyone else gets similar gas mileage... way below the vehicles rating of 17 city/27 hwy MPG.
