  • Luxury feel with great value - 2010 Toyota Venza

After purchasing my 10 Venza V-6 base, I read several comments and reviews trashing winter driving. I have since experienced one of the worst winters in the NY area, and had more than 35 inches of snow in three weeks. I have to say that my Venza handled it with ease. I mean NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. I felt confident, and the Venza went through it all with ease on local streets and highways back and forth to work. Great styling, comfy ride, although a bit hard and noisy when going over imperfections on the road because of the low profile tires. I feel good driving such a stylish car, at such a reasonable price. I enjoy driving it as much as my mercedes benz.

just bought my 2010 venza. Love the style outside. Im not to fond of the plastic on top of the dashboard. I went for the 4 cylinder because I dont need too much power. ITs really a fun ride. Love the bluetooth hands free. Sales people and delivery people wonderful! Great lease deal too

  • Fooled by Toyota - 2010 Toyota Venza

I bought a 2010 AWD 4cyl Venza in early April10. I was assured no recall. 3 weeks later I got the recall notice for gas pedal, but they have no fix for the problem yet. Do not bring to dealer.(ok- sure) Have major problem with brake surges and not sure if going to fully stop sometimes. Brought to Toyota and they cut my rotors. I have 4400 miles on my car. I am very disappointed and leery to drive my car that I am absolutely stuck with as I cannot trade it at this point. Not a good feeling.

  • Poor gas mileage - 2010 Toyota Venza

positive points: LOTS of interior space, blue tooth, pretty quiet ride. negative points: averaging 21 mpg with conservative driving, 4 cylinders had to struggle a bit going on long uphill stretches, exterior skin seems to be thinner and less ding resistant compared to my older Toyota.

  • Venza: The Un-SUV - 2010 Toyota Venza

I bought the Venza because after about 15 years of driving sports coupes and sports sedans, I wanted something different, something with more room for those occasional trips to Home Depot. The Venza is replacing a Lexus IS 350. The Venza is quick, not fast, but quick. Because of a lower center of gravity than the typical SUV, it handles mostly like a sedan. The 20" wheels (standard with the V6) probably help with that. I like the Venzas aggressive styling and its room cargo space. Overall great car.

  • Too hot my - 2010 Toyota Venza

Love the outside of this car. I would return this car tomorrow if I would not loose 34 thousand dollars. I have had it two weeks. The Glass windshield is 36 inches in width with no tint. The plastic black vinyl dash board is also 20 inches deep. Add all these up plus 95 degrees outside. Its like being in a barrel of burning oil. The dash board is ugly plastic it absorbs heat. Black. Horrible. I called the dealership once they have your cash forget it. Do not buy.

  • Great car overall but with a few issues - 2010 Toyota Venza

Im going on a little over 4 years with my 2010 Venza, and I still love it. I have very low mileage (32,500) due to using public transport for my daily commute, so Im still anxious to see how the reliability holds up as the miles increase. The car is nice to drive, handles well, and I love the space available. The gas mileage is ok. I will agree with some of the other reviewers that the ride can be a little bumpy at times, but I knew that was possibility because of the large rims and smaller profile tires. I also have had some interior creaks and rattles that can be annoying, especially because the interior build quality seems pretty decent. Overall I am very pleased with the vehicle.

  • Say NO to Toyota GPS!!!! - 2010 Toyota Venza
    By -

Toyota & Lexus GPS is a RIPOFF!!! We werent looking for an installed GPS, however the Toyota we liked happen to have this PIECE of JUNK! At 5-MPH the ENTIRE GPS, CD player, Bluetooth & phone control locks down and is unusable. Voice control, LOL.. say store, hospital or police and itll show you the nearest golf course. Research all you can, there is NO override option; ask Toyota and theyll give you a big fat [violative content deleted]... Sucka. Too overcome this pathetic $2500 short coming with 4yr old maps, I keep a $200 Garmin in the car and my cell phone handy. In addition, Toy-Rip-U-Off has replaced quality dent resistant fenders and paint with Detroit Crap.

  • Venza not a bad deal! - 2010 Toyota Venza
    By -

Purchased Venza few days ago, and still too early to tell. Dont care too much for the transmission or steering wheel play. Couldnt pass up the car though. Very nice exterior and interior alike. MSRP with options (V6, Convenience package, panoramic sunroof, JBL system, premium color (Blizzard pearl)Tow prep, floor mats and trunk mats, and little few extras topped out at $33,300!! Went in and offered $27,500 and they never blinked an eye! looking at invoice the sold car for $2600 under invoice. Im sure they make it up in dealer holdbacks, but I couldnt be more pleased with the car, and the AWESOME no haggle process I went through at Central Florida Toyota! Ill be back!

  • 5,000 mile review - 2010 Toyota Venza
    By -

I purchased this car in December of 2010 and now have about 5,000 miles on it. My wife wanted it mainly to haul her dogs and for trips back and forth to the cabin. For both purposes it is a good car; lots of cargo capacity (as much as an Outback), nice hatch opening and the seats lay flat (unlike the new Chevy Equinox). For dirt roads and bad weather the AWD is great, plus the car has the clearance of an SUV without the sub-20 mpg. On average, we get about 23.5 mpg in mixed driving. Oddly, it never gets over 24 on the highway, but weve only owned it in colder months and with lots of ethanol in the gasoline. The seats are comfortable, it handles great, looks great and is powerful
