  • Traded up from a Grand Cherokee - 2004 Toyota Sequoia

We purchased a 2002 Grand Cherokee when we started a family and didnt want to go the minivan route. The Cherokee was a nightmare (maintenance, performance, etc.) So, we saw a great deal on a new 2004 Sequoia at the end of 2003 and went for it. We have loved this car (and we arent really "car" people). We go away a lot for the weekend and its so easy to just throw stuff in the Sequoia and go. It rides so smoothly and we havent had any problems with it at all. We added a DVD player b/c it was cheaper to have it done on our own than @ the dealer. My only complaint - it is cumbersome & hard to park sometimes. But - thats a large SUV for you. GREAT SUV!

WE LOOKED AT EVERY SUV ON THE MARKET BEFORE DECIDING ON THE SEQUOIA. THE INTERIOR OF THIS CAR IS SO MUCH NICER THAN THE OTHERS. THE KIDS LOVE WATCHING MOVIES, AND I HAD A BLAST DRIVING ON THE BEACH. I CANT WAIT TO DRIVE IN THE SNOW. I FEEL VERY SAFE IN THIS CAR, AND MY THREE KIDS ALL HAVE PLENTY OF ROOM IN THE SECOND ROW. ALL THREE CARSEATS FIT,AND THERES ROOM TO GROW.

It is a fanstastic vehicle with ample space for seating in all three rows.

We purchased our vehicle (AWD) off Craigs list from a dealer in So. California. It had 92,000 on it and is in pristine condition. Weve had a 100,000 mile service done which included bumper to bumper service and the vehicle continues to drive like new. It was purchased as a replacement for our 1998 Toyota 4-runner with 250k on it was totaled by a friend. The Sequoia has more than we will ever need in a vehicle and weve taken two out of state trips with it. It has the room, the comfort and the separate temperature zones is something that definitely comes in handy. Our conclusion, we wont buy anything else. Other than the less than desirable fuel economy, its a great vehicle.

I was recently in a car accident. I suffered some injuries however, I would be in pretty bad shape had the Sequoia not done what it was built for. I was rear ended at an approx. speed or 45 miles an hour while I was at a complete stop. My Sequoias rear end took a major impact.. But I am alive because of it.. THanks TOYOTA

  • Best in Class - 2004 Toyota Sequoia

We have owned this SUV for a little less than a year and it is our first Toyota. We are really impressed with Toyota quality. The interior is not quite as plush and "fancy" as some, but I think it dominates in every other category. We bought this vehicle certified used with a bumper to bumper 7 year 100,000 mile warranty. I doubt we will need it though.

  • How was I to know - 2004 Toyota Sequoia

This is my second Toyota and its the best machine I have ever owned. From the first day it has been a joy and to drive. With no effort I dart in and out of traffic as if it was a car. Taking it through the mountains of Napa Ca you would think the curves would give one reason for caution. Not here. It continues to amazie me how well it handles on the road, in turns, hard curves, quick stops. With a full load of seveal cases of wine it does not change the ride. How their can be any way a rating company can not give this truck a number one or best in class must just what to be kind to the other manufactures.

A really nice, but slightly underpowered, large SUV. Comfortable inside but a bit restricted when one needs to move backwards. Rear-looking visibility is limited, backing up.

THESE SUV HAS A VERY POWERFUL ENGINE YOU CAN ACCELERATE VEY QUICKLY WITHOUT THE JUMP THAT MOST SUVS DO. IT VERY COMFORTLY SEATS 8 PASSENGERS WITH FEELING LIKE YOUR A SARDINE.
