Massive and feel safe. Good visibility at front, but rear quarter has a big blind spot. Will be great going to ski trips.

We finally got our new 03 SR5 Sequoia. We did not think it would ever arrive, especially since we ordered it over 5 months back. We formerly owned a 2001 Chevy Tahoe. Wow, what a big improvement over that clunk. We were a bit disappointed with all the dealer gouging on this particular model. If you want the Sequoia, you will pay a small premium. The engine is smooth and torquey and the ride is quiet. We especially like the dealer installed TRD supercharger and the power rear hatch window. The Engine compartment is also well laid out and very spacious.

This is one of the best vehicles Ive ever owned. Smooth ride, powerful and unbelievably reliable. Most comfortable seats of any car Ive owned. We have 140,000 miles on it now and runs like the day we bought it in 2003. Sound system still sounds great. Only problems have been fuel gauge that sometimes doesnt work and VSC lights come on sometimes. Would like if second row was removable.

  • Love my Sequoia - 2003 Toyota Sequoia

First SUV I have ever purchased. Glad I did. More room that expected and rides smoother than the Land Cruiser. Braking is a little soft but then again its a big vehicle.

  • Finally, an SUV we can count on - 2003 Toyota Sequoia

Traded unreliable ’98 Mercedes ML320 on the Sequoia. Nimble for its size. Great steering feel except at high speeds or heavy loads, where its a bit too light. Smooth, controlled ride. Huge, quiet interior. 3rd row seat is comfortable. Excellent build quality, but interior look is plain. Perfect paint job. We get 16 mpg; regular gas is fine. Transmission shifts are jerky before it warms up, and when downshifting in corners. Middle seats fold, but cant be removed. Stereo is just OK. Off road its good; if you turn off VSC. Nice driving position, but the front seats become uncomfortable after 2-3 hours due to poor lower back support.

I absolutley love this vehilce. It is leaps and bounds above the Ford and Chevy versions. It does have bland styling, but it more that makes up for that with its refinement and ability to please the driver.

  • great SUV - 2003 Toyota Sequoia

After owned 98 Expedition and 99 RX300, this new Squoia provides the best overall SUV we ever drove. Up to this date, I have to drive at least once every day just for fun. One time we had 6 adults and two children with their car seats install on the road for 3 hours. None of the passagers complained about too crowded. They all felt sitting comfortable.

  • Solid Vehicle after 4 Years - 2003 Toyota Sequoia
    By -

My family and I have had this vehicle for 4 years now and its still running really strong. We have the SR5 with cloth and Ive thought of upgrading several times, but cant part with our Sequoia. Its so comfortable and I never had to worry about mechanical problems while on the road. This is the perfect full-sized SUV. I love that I can pull into my garage and still have room to walk around.

  • Very Satisfied Customer - 2003 Toyota Sequoia

I was stuck trying to justify the high price of the Sequoia compared to its American counterparts. In the end the resale value and reliabilty overcame the others. I have been very happy with my Sequioa, and feel more at ease with having to outlay that much money. The quality and workmanship is leaps and bounds above any others I have seen. I put in a Gibson Cat-Back exhaust & a Volant cold air intake. I get close to 18.5 miles to the gallon and much quicker 0-60 times, The set up cost me $600 but well worth it. In a nut shell, I am a very saitsfied Toyota owner. There is a reason that Toyota does not have to offer huge rebates to sell there products.
