Great SUV, needs better tow hitch - 2007 Toyota RAV4
By Ed - October 21 - 1:23 amI have the V-6 with tow package and factory 3500 lb hitch installed. A standard length tow bar will not work because of the rear mounted tire and even if the tire was not there, the hitch is recessed quite a bit from the end of the bumper.

Really good choice - 2007 Toyota RAV4
By JP - October 13 - 1:33 pmOwned a 1993, 4 cyl, 5-speed manual trans, Toyota Corolla wagon. Felt ready for something different, but didnt want to loose what I liked about the wagon. Spent about 6 months researching and driving cars. Top choices that I test drove were: Honda CR-V, Honda Element, Subaru Outback, Toyota Highlander and Toyota RAV4. RAV4 won out.

By Felipe - August 11 - 6:26 pmJust bought a RAV4 for the wife. The drive is smooth and very car-like. Steering is responsive and acceleration is surprisingly quick...going 80mph felt like 60mph. Seats are comfortable for an SUV, and the suspension can actually handle rough roads. 4WD is always on, w/ 4-Lo available on demand. Safety features include 8 airbags. As a lifelong GM/Ford guy, I am impressed with the quality and fit & finish of the RAV4. All the standard features make this vehicle one to consider when looking for a small-SUV. Overall, I think Toyota did their homework and pulled out the stops with the redesigned RAV4. But dont take my word for it, take a RAV4 out for a test drive for see for yourself.

By Sandy - July 10 - 5:26 pmThe engine is super responsive. I have chosen 3rd row seat for the occasional use with friends or grandkids. Getting anywhere between 21.5 and 23.5 miles per gallon dependent on weather, highway etc. We have had good results with past two 4Runners and Tacoma so I trust Toyota as a good value. We were looking at other brands until they changed the design of the Rav4 that met my needs exactly! I Love my Rav4

By darlag2 - May 27 - 3:03 amI bought my RAV4 in December and the whether got bad the minute I left the lot (literally the first snowflakes fee as I pulled onto the road). The car drove like a dream on both wet and snow covered roads. The heated seats and self-dimming mirror are great! As the motor gets broken in my milage is moving up. I love this car!

Great all around SUV - 2007 Toyota RAV4
By Toyota Convert - April 11 - 12:20 pmDrove a new 2010 RAV and decided to save $$$ and buy used since there was no difference in looks. My 2007 RAV (12k miles) like many others had a noise/clicking in the steering wheel when turning. After research I found out about the intermediate steering shaft for which Toyota issued a TSB. Since mine still had the factory warranty (also bought it certified) I took it back to the dealer and it was repaired in a few hours, no questions asked. I signed for the warranty and saw it was 516.00. The car is now 100% to my liking and I enjoy it more every day in every way. Love it - cant go wrong!
