Overview & Reviews
The JBL 3-in-1 audio system has been discontinued, and the sport package receives a unique metal mesh grille and silver sport pedals.
- Steers and handles like a car, thoughtful cabin design, exemplary build and materials quality, ABS and stability control standard, refined and fuel-efficient engine.
- Somewhat cramped interior, high repair costs in low-speed rear collisions, not much off-road ability.

Love this Car---So much better than CRV - 2005 Toyota RAV4
By Mar - January 14 - 3:10 pmFor a long time I could not decide between the Honda CRV and the Toyota rav 4. I loved the test drive, the interior, exterior, and trusted the Toyota name above all. Had this car for over a month now and love it. So happy with this vehicle!!!

Bought three years ago and still love it - 2005 Toyota RAV4
By Marcia Gruver - December 3 - 9:53 pmThis is the best car Ive ever owned, and Im a 50-year-old woman, so Ive been around the car block. Its compact enough that it gives decent gas mileage and being an SUV, it puts me on the same level as the rest of the world. (In fact, Im a bit miffed theyre planning to make the 2007 models bigger -- if you want bigger, move on up to a Highlander or a Sequoia. Leave the Rav 4 alone!)

4 yr. review - 2005 Toyota RAV4
By harshad - September 15 - 8:06 amI bought my Rav4 in Feb 2005. its my commuter car. Its trouble free so far after 45000 miles. Manual tranny is great. I still get 25 mpg in Minnesota winters and around 28 MPG in summer. I take a seat out in summer and can put 2 road bikes easy. This vehicle has to be top 5 reliable fun to drive on consumer reports.

2-RAV Family - 2005 Toyota RAV4
By 2 RAVs - August 10 - 3:30 pmI loved my first RAV4 I purchased in March of 1998 and hated the thought of ever trading it in. When a van we had finally died, we replaced it with a 2005 RAV4- I hated looking at anything else because the RAV has been so dependable, it seemed silly to consider a different car. We thought about a different Toyota, but the size of the RAV is perfect for city driving and so comfortable on the open road. We have three growing kids between the ages of 7 and 14 and while the older RAV had a smaller back seat- the newer one has plenty of room for all three kids- and no complaining! I love the added get up and go in the 05. Its a great car Id buy again.. maybe well go for three!
