  • what an awesome car - 2013 Toyota Prius

I purchased the prius persona in july and love this car, I previously had a Honda accord. I recommend the black cherry color, as this is a limited edition color, so there arent a lot of them out there. this car is loaded with features, and at only 26000 with o percent financing, this was just right for me. I am getting 56 mpg going to work everyday, 24 miles, 17 of them on the highway. I am currently getting about 52 on the highway and about 56 or 57 in the city, I live in Chicago, so the city driving is stop and go, which gets you better mileage, and I have learned how to drive to get maximum fuel economy without being "that guy driving like a grandma". would recommend

  • excellent vehicle for my purpose - 2013 Toyota Prius

I bought a 2013 Prius new, largely to drive on country roads with an annual cross-country trip. Vehicle currently has 40,000+ miles on it with zero problems. On the cross county trips I stick to the freeways and it stays above 70 all day long and fully loaded with luggage, average about 48mpg (unless big head wind) as measured by fuel used. Around home I consistently average above 50mpg. Impressive amount of interior space for size of vehicle. Before buying I checked with several taxi drivers who told me they often see Prius cabs with over 300,000 miles on them with no major problems. Im 62" @ 210. Plenty of leg room. Very happy with car and would buy again.

  • Best Car ever owned. - 2013 Toyota Prius

I bought a 2009 Prius and have so far put 162,000 miles on it without any issue of any kind. The first set of brakes are still in place and it has never let me down on trips all over the country.

  • Navigation crashes, resets, and just doesnt work - 2013 Toyota Prius

Dont a Prius if you need the navigation. It just doesnt work. I have had my 3 month old car in twice and Toyota cant get the navigation to work. It crashes, restarts, and one misdirected me. Too bad because the mileage is great and otherwise I am happy with the car. Right now I wish Id gone with anything but a Toyota. They used to make great cars.

  • Skeptics are wrong - 2013 Toyota Prius

I did a lot of research before deciding on a Prius, and found that, though there are plenty of raving fans, there are also a lot of detractors. I read reviews about unbearable seats, terrible road noise, lack of power, and poor driving experience. After test drives, I decided to take a chance, and bought a new Persona model, which is basically an appearance package with a few upgrades, like the 17" wheels, navigation, and leather. Ive driven it enough now to comment: the driver seat is as comfortable as any Ive ever seen. The ride and road noise are typical for any vehicle of similar class. The power is great in Power Mode, the sound system is great, and the overall sense is great!
